Concerned the recipe of the donuts is not right. This is the only Shipleys location I've ever questioned if the recipe is off. The donuts were hot and fresh but they were super dense. Even when they turned cold they tasted off. Very hollow and crispy. They are usually spongey texture and soft. Won't visit this location again!

It was a beautiful “donut” kind of morning, so I searched for a Shipley’s Donut shop nearby. I was thrilled when there was one less than 1 mile away, so I made my way there. I had never been to this particular Shipley’s before, but I loved that they had an open window to watch the gentleman making donuts and kolaches.
