I'm happy to find this place! 😊
I was looking for some delicious salad bowl and here's the spot. The chicken spicy flavor and the vietnamese sauce are delicious.
I recommend the thai tea, its fresh and not too sweet 🫰🏻
They have variety of imported beverages, as well .
The service was great and friendly.
- clean and relaxing atmosphere.
- affordable prices

Gross food. When we went it was just one employee it was gross because same employee takes ur order, takes ur payment, makes ur food ,multi-tasking taking other orders while making ur food .Even our fountain drink was gross and it was just coke but it tasted weird. Employee said because he hadn't put ice in the machine and than added some. If soda is not good that's ur sign to walk away. Needless to say we took one bite and left. Restroom was also locked made no sense.

Decent food, horrible service. Register guy with long hair always says something unnecessarily mean-spirited to me. First time I went, I told him it was my first time, and asked him what was in the pork eggrolls (as there was nothing but "pork" in the description), he just said "Pork" and paused. Of course I say ".... Is that it?", and that wasn't it. As a food server, he should know some people have allergies and preferences, and need more detail than what's in the freaking title. It was weird, but could be brushed off as "He just couldn't help trying to be funny.". But the 2 times I went after that, there was always a weird, rude comment that would give me pause. But he wouldn't linger on it and would just change the subject. And I'm not a confrontational person, so I wouldn't acknowledge it either. Just make a face. Last time I went, I was already having a horrible day, and just wanted egg rolls as a pick-me up. His comment that time broke the dam and actually made me cry while I waited for the food. Real weird guy. Don't know what his deal is. Rude, but makes great food. Would only recommend if you're the type to fight back, or are in a group that can confirm what he says is out of pocket.

Edit: Weird response from the "owner" about customers being rude. Of course I don't have video of the interactions. That's why I say come with friends, because the way I was talked to was crazy. But of course when you're alone, the person can make up any narrative they want to make it seem like you're the problem. I don't come on here bashing small ethnic businesses for no reason. I simply want to request my food and go home. The bare minimum I could get back is professionalism, and not snide remarks every time I come in. But you know they're crazy when they think a proper response to "This is my first time here. What's in the Pork Eggrolls?", is "Pork". That's not just the main ingredient. It's literally what I already said. So you're just talking to me like I'm stupid. I'm obviously not asking if there's pork in the pork eggrolls. And asking what's in it is simply not "rude". We all have issues, as we're all human. That's why shouldn't be rude to each other. Simple as that. Don't work in customer service if you can't resist being rude to people for ordering.

The pork banh mi wasn't like what I was used to eating. The meat was chewy and cut into a very small dice, as others have stated, there wasn't much of it. The sign advertised daikon and cucumber, neither were on my sandwich, only carrots and one small Jalapeno slice.

My response: there wasn't any cucumber or daikon on my sandwich, there was cilantro and one slice of jalapeno. The price is the same as much more generously portioned sandwiches. Which is where people should go...

The food was fine. But, the service was slow, and my bowl was filled with cilantro (despite ordering 'no cilantro'). I still would've been fine, but they also charge $2.50 (!!) for tap water. I find that to be 1* service.

I love the food here at Viet Nom Noms in Bellaire. This hole-in-the-wall restaurant is my go-to place whenever I am shopping at H-E-B across street. The menu is not complicated. I have tried vermicelli bowl and banh mi salad so far. The flavors were good. The prices are even better. I could eat here everyday, if I live nearby.

My wife was out running errands and saw this place and knew I had it marked to try so she stopped in and picked me up a grilled pork banh mi sammy and an order of three small fried eggrolls. The pork sammy was tasty and the one eggroll I got was really good...shared the others with my wife and grandbaby, all gave their seal of approval. We'll be back.
Second review......My wife has picked up take out before but yesterday was my first sit down visit. Ordered the vermicelli bowl with steak, the steak had great flavor, vermicelli rice noodles, lettuce, bean sprouts, cucumbers, carrots, daikons, green onions, fried onions, cilantro, peanuts and I got the spicy Viet Sauce, lots of crunch from the fresh veggies and the sauce did deliver some heat...me likey! We shared 4 pork fried egg rolls. My wife sampled my vermicelli bowl and liked it. I enjoyed an iced Viet coffee.
