Went by on the way through Waco and they no longer serve butterfly donuts. It has been years since we've been by, so maybe all of the Shipley locations no longer serve butterflies. The donut holes were squished and tiny - for $2.70 we expected fluffy, good-sized holes. Maybe this is inflation, but it's also the reason we rarely eat out since Covid. High prices, small portions, and apathetic service are going to kill the fast food and restaurant industry.

The donut is delicious here and recommended to try. However, the coffee was a shame, smelly (plastic like), and tasteless. I was so disappointed with such coffee.

Food is good and pretty consistent. Kolaches are better some days than others. Service is polite and courteous but rushed and detached. What irks me is packaging. Especially iced donuts... you guys display them flat selling them that way would be appreciated. I'm tired of my donuts ending up like the picture below... I'm buying a donut to lick tissue paper

Owner needs to step up and get a menu board outside. Kolaches are basically all bread. If you looking for the Czech style this is not it. Ladies working there are very friendly!!

Went there to get a dozen glazed donuts. I thought that fresh warm donuts were kind of shipleys “thing”. I opened the box and the donuts were stale and cold. Very disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. No one wants a dozen cold donuts.

As always the food was great, but unfortunately for this particular location the service has been sub par. There was only 1 car ahead of me at my most recent visit, but I waited in line for almost 10 mins before they finally got to the car in front of me. That's a bit long for a donut shop in my opinion....
