Average food and service.
Party of 5 two had to send the Chop steak back due to being way under cooked per request. BBQ brisket was ok, turkey mushy texture. White wing salad was excellent.

I asked for medium steak but it was overcooked. and my steak was so small my side was bigger than my meal.and it took so long. from my son Tré.
We love coming here, and food is usually great. I tried their white wings today and I don't recommend. They were dry. And I can't believe waitress didn't offer to re-cook my son's steak or didn't give discount. She basically avoided us after we stated the steak was overcooked. Brent.

My father has been coming here for YEARS. My father is a very loyal man. When Great Southwest was around that was the only place we would eat r, then they closed. Then there was a little diner off 35 in temple he loved, and then they closed. Anytime I visit in town, I know where we are eating already. They know my father as soon as he walks in. They’re always so kind to us and personable. The food is always A+ for us, we have never had an issue with their food and I we’ve been going for over a decade to this location. My daughters practically grew up here. Thank you for always being so kind and sweet to my father and us. I’m sorry I never left a review sooner. We are so grateful Clems came to Belton.

My wife Kandi ordered food today. She got 1 grilled chicken breast and mashed potatoes I got catfish with mashed potatoes. THEY WERE NOT MASHED POTATOES!!! THEY WERE OBVIOUSLY SCOOPED OUT OF A BAKED POTATO!!!!! NOTHING MASHED ABOUT THEM. UNREAL, it's obvious when you come here you don't necessarily get what you order. You get what they want to give you!!!

Last time to get takeout here. Dry, tough, tasteless ribs, bland potato salad, all for only $23.00. What a complete ripoff. I even left a small tip even tho I picked up. I was there Monday evening Nov 24, around 6:00. The woman who served me should be ashamed of herself. I have patronized this place previously and had reasonably decent meals, both takeout and eat-in. My experience tonight was the worst. I won’t be back, you’ve lost a long-term customer.

Mom and I had lunch at this location today. It was wonderful! From the greeting at the door all the way through was great hospitality. Tina was our server. Excellent service!! The runner was sweet as can be and followed up if we needed anything else and brought mom cocktail sauce and lemons for me. We both had the catfish basket with a couple of substitutions for the fries. No problem at all.
The fish was delicious and HOT!! The butter potatoes were great too. Mom had the dinner salad and Tina brought it out before the meal. We were greeted on the way out with a thank you as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩

Soda was flat and tasted terrible like nasty moldy fountain soda the meat was dry and displeasing 3 meat to be exact sides were nothing special just a bunch of potatoes made different ways unless you want a 2 dollar up charge on already over priced food for a loaded potato paid 100 for 4 dinners no dinner rolls no good service just can't go back now that was the last time I throw away my money couldn't even try to enjoy the food however my dog princess did enjoy the meat but then again she eats off the floor.

Excellent BBQ
They have other locations and my wife noticed she didn't smell the normal BBQ smoking smell, so we think they bring it in from another location. Either way it's excellent !
Glad I asked about the deserts, because Cherry Cobbler wasn't on the menu, but it was very good also
Prices are reasonable.
Wait time was ~10 minutes since it was a Sunday lunch time.
Will go again for sure.

Update, our third visit. Wife's birthday! Similar meal. My Catfish, her Steak & our shared ribs, quenched w/tall draft beer; all half eaten with the remainder taken home for another meal... This was the first time I had been here the wife and I decided we both earned a break and an evening out this was the start both ordered steak and also ordered a side of ribs to split. We both ate about half our stake and between us we ate about half the order of ribs and took it home.
