It was ok. The hostess dropped my silverware on the floor and just picked it up and put it on the table. Calamari and soft shell crab were over salty and over breaded. The riceless roll was mediocre.

Honestly, I’m not sure where to start. We went with a party of 12. While I realize this may be large for some, half of the party didn’t even order because we had several children and they were not hungry. Waiter complained numerous times about the size of our party and vocalized how difficult our ticket was to implement into their system. We waited over 1.5 hours for our food. Nothing came out together. Which, fine but 2 people in our party set waiting an additional 30 min and staff kept promising food was “being plated” the steak hibachi was quite shameful and not sure id call it a filet. The chicken Raman had to have had hot coals thrown on top of it because the flavor that immersed from it was absolutely disgusting. Icing on the cake was the multiple crotch hairs on several food dishes. All in all would not recommend. Hopefully they can get it together.

While I was eating here I saw a roach on the table. Very disgusting establishment and should be investigated by the health department

We went tonight for my son’s birthday and the cook/entertainer was the WORST. He barely spoke and when he did it was mumbled. He lit an onion stack on fire but other than that there was zero show. The only “show” was him cooking the food. We looked around at other tables and it was 💯 better than our experience. He never acknowledged my son’s birthday or made any extra effort whatsoever. It was such a disappointing experience. I will say that our server was AMAZING. He was super sweet and took great care of our table. The food was delicious and the portions were more than enough. If this was a typical restaurant it would have been a good night but the expectation of something extra definitely wasn’t met.

I've never experienced this type of dining, and it was amazing. I had fun watching the food be prepared, and it tasted delicious. Steak was tender, and shrimp was succulent. Everything was full of flavor. The staff was friendly and professional. I will definitely be back.

The service was good, even though it took a little while for someone to even come talk to us after we were seated. The place seemed busy but not overwhelming for the issues we had. The fried rice was bland and felt like it was missing something. The sushi roll we got seemed like it was thrown together really quickly, the rice was falling off of it as we picked it up. The soft shell crab had a very weird taste to it, like it was cooked in old oil. To me the Nami in downtown Temple is far more superior, I have not had any problems with that location.

This is an awesome place, food and service. I always miss that they are closed on Sundays, that’s when I can meet my family for food. Monster roll is my FAVORITE!!!

So I went to Nami’s in Belton with my mom and 2 kids to celebrate my birthday. For the kids, (age 6 and 11), I told them I would just get an adult plate and have them split it, especially since my 6 year old doesn’t eat much. They informed me that since I was going to split it between them, that I would have to pay a $5 fee since I’m not getting 2 meals for them, and that I should be happy with this fee because it’s cheaper than buying 2 separate meals.
That’s insane!
They aren’t giving me any extra food, no extra salad, soup or rice.. just a $5 fee if they split a plate.
I told her that I would just order 1 plate for one and nothing for the other (because I can split their plates by myself) and she told me no, it’s against policy.

We left because I don’t like feeling ripped off.
Ive never heard of this before, and think it’s crazy that they can charge $5 just because we weren’t getting 4 meals. My mom was set to get a $31 meal because she wanted the chicken and steak, so they lost business over greed. I won’t go back. So FYI, if you go and intend to split a plate between your kids, I would check your ticket.

Know when you come here there is a 50/50 shot of a good experience. 1 of 2 things will happen:
1. You get a great show/experience but burnt/not great hibachi
2. You get a bad show but fantastic flavors.

As forest gump said “ like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get”

If you get lucky you’ll get a good show and fantastic meal. We haven’t experienced that combo yet. But we will continue to return until we do ?
When you get the right chef the food and portions are 100% worth the money.

Also….. please fix your a/c ??? xoxo

If you want to double the meat and rice. Do 2 single servings as you get more . I do recommend reservations. Lots of fun.

Hands down the best sushi in the area. The sushi chef was skilled and didn't rush, the servers were prompt and polite and there was plenty of seating, even during the busy hours.

Not a fan of hibachi stuff, so only got sushi, and it was well worth it.
