food is as advertised. The owner has put his heart and soul into this menu and the price is more than reasonable for what you get. Once that patio area is finished the atmosphere will be complete. Coming from a guy who enjoys the finer foods at a reasonable price I'm highly recommend you don't miss this gem.

First impressions of Rusty Shells... Hostess was slow to seat us and not because full dining room. Area of dining room was dimly lit. Service was slow. Food was good. We had catfish, shrimp, frog legs. Overall reminds me of what I call a hole in the wall. Atmosphere and service may lack a bit but food is good and to me that is all that matters.

A huge disappointment!! I ate here again after he post he was fixing the crawfish boil seasoning because it was bought to his attention they were way too Salty... So I gave it a try to see was the seasoning fix and the crawfish are still way to SALTY... Before when he first open it wasn't salty. But now them crawfish is overly salty. What a big disappointment because I love crawfish...

The BEST SEAFOOD ever ..from the first time ate it out the truck til now the flavor as been the same if not better ..we have been here a few times so tonight we tried the crawfish and I can't complain it was just as good as the rest.. We had ROSA for our waitress this and last time we ate there and she couldn't of be the best waitress ..She was well attentive and made sure we was doing good and was ok ..we love her ..we will always go back can't stop its awesome ...Come check it out u won't be disappointed promise ? ??
Amazing food!! Crawfish is always amazing, seasoned well, spicy but not overly doing it, crab is great also, very meaty and very flavorful. Hard to mess up potatoes and corn but he seasons it generously and it’s really damn good. His prices aren’t expensive for what he offers and his specials he has are pretty awesome as well. Favorite seafood spot in central tx by far!! We had good service, our waitress was Rosa and she was super sweet and attentive. Definitely recommend for seafood lovers!! They also have other items such as steak or mozzarella sticks but I’ve never tried it, have heard good things about those too tho!

Ordered the 3lb Crawfish special. Was served two hot potatoes, 1 hot ear of corn, and 3 pounds of cold crawfish. Cold. Not even warm, but COLD. Waitresses response was just sorry about that.

Great all around experience again at the Shell. Angelique was great. Food Amazing. The table next to me tried to scam a discount by complaining about cold food (I saw steaming lol). Got on google to leave a good review and noticed her poor one half hour ago. Purely a retaliatory review. Shame on you Miss J!
