My husband and I have visited twice now and it has quickly become one of our favorite special occasion spots. The ambiance is quaint and lovely. Cozy lighting and local art on the walls. The service is great. And the food is absolutely delicious. (Try the goat cheese! And definitely get a dessert.)

I was so excited to hear about the new Italian, reservation only, dining opportunity in a neighborhood where I am a property owner and one that I visit many times a year. As a parting treat before I left to go home to another time zone, I went on a Saturday at 7:30 with my favorite five other people on the planet. Three of them I have travelled with in Italy and shared hundreds of meals with over the last decades. The place is cozy and cute and has interesting visual features and some interesting art. The community is known for art, so that is not surprising.I was told when we came in that it would not be a fast and out the door dining experience. That is very typical of authentic Italian so I was not unhappy about that.Our server, Jenna was very sweet and attentive. She got us taken care of in a timely manner with water all around. I had made a personal choice to have something other than wine. I'm in Texas, I figure I'd like to try one of the Margaritas.Jenna says they were out of Margaritas.Of a long list of ciders, except that there were only two. So I had something called Crackberry Cider which was better after the second one.,Oh the food. Well, I was very excited about trying the Ravioli alla Vodka.Jenna says they are out of ravioli.I am not a bit fan of seafood. I ordered a meatballs appetizer.I did ask for a side of mashed potatoes andJenna came back to tell me that there was only enough mashed potatoes for all of the entrees that were served and not enough for a side. I was fortunate that one of my friends allowed me to taste the mashed potatoes because the were the best of what I had.My friends were served lovely plates. The looked artfully arranged and my friends tucked into their shrimp and salmon.The meatballs were normal meatballs. They weren't terrible but they weren't great.I felt kind of bad, I think my friends had some good food. It was so hard for me to tell since I had more limited choices.This was particularly harsh as folks we had lead us there were so excited to share how good it was and they were all with us and saw that it was not so good.I think there is a better way to say what they are serving rather than telling patrons they don't have or out of something.I would like to go again, perhaps earlier in the week.

Update: We've become regulars! The burrata salad is still a fave. The Mushroom Risotto is amazing every time. On Thursday you can get lasagna, and it's perfection.We had a lovely dinner date at Terra Sana Farm + Kitchen . I had to have the Rabbit Ala Sana, it was . The soup was simple perfection. My husband had the burrata cheese salad, it was creamy delicious and the prosciutto was ?. Neither of us had ever had bananas foster, so we had them for dessert. We will be back! ❤️

Very nice upscale spot to grab some food in Ben Wheeler. It’s inside of the Vintage Cork (which we loved).I got the filet and I could cut it with my fork! So good!Will definitely be back!

Fine Italian dining in a comfortable atmosphere. Lasagne was the special that night, and it was delicious. The mushroom risotto is made with vegetable broth. Order it vegan, and the cheese is left off the top. It, too, was delicious. You have a large selection of local wines to choose from as the restaurant is housed in the Vintage Cork 917. Reservations are recommended. Just note these are two separate businesses, so the bar bill and food bill is separate. If you are in the area and are ready for fine dining, this will check all the boxes.

The food is truly some of the best I've had in East Texas. I live in Tyler but am willing to come to Ben Wheeler for this restaurant alone. Food feels really special and made with care. Good wine selection to go with it. The goat cheese appetizer was beautiful and delicious.

The attention that the chef has to preparing fresh and local food is not found in my establishments in this area. Had my first experience yesterday night. I sweet friend of mine waited on us. Everything we had very so yum. I especially loved the mushroom risotto. Will definitely try again when we are in town.

The dinner I had last night at Tara Sana was absolutely one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. I had a huge portion of Chilean Seabass, I can’t tell you how it was cooked, maybe poached, but it was done perfectly, with baby vegetables that were so tasty, it was unbelievable. We had a lovely house salad, that I have enjoyed several times before, and for dessert we had Lemoncello tiramisu, which was spectacular.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! I've never had better Italian food....this place serves the most filling, but not heavy, Italian dishes I've had the privilege to enjoy. So tasty and fresh! The server, Cami, was a delight and very attentive. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling through East Texas.
