We normally eat at Lisa's Chicken, but they were closed, so we tried this place out. The food tasted like old, nasty grease. The prices were double what I expected. They refused to cook gizzards.

I just left and I just have to share, who ever was working the drive through tonight was simply incredible. I haven’t opened my food or anything yet and it doesn’t matter, because service will always out preform food. What a breath of fresh air to have such a friendly, clearly joy filled person at the window. It’s a rare. Young adult with kind of shaggy hair, give him a raise. This kind of joy and kindness is only found outside of this world, as I was driving away all I could think was this kid must have the Holy Spirit living in him because it shows.
Anyways, if more fast food chains would hire joyful people, I could guarantee more business. We never eat here anymore, this was a random one off, but we will be coming back if the service stays like this :)

I literally pulled up to order some food and they said all we have is drinks granted it was 12 minutes till they close but why do you stay open till a certain time if you can't serve anybody? I run a business if I rent it that way I would be out of business totally unacceptable and unprofessional the way they spoke to me I grew up in this community been here since 1991....never will give that location my money again.

Great and amazing chicken strips.The chicken strips are bigger than Raising Canes.My opinion I'd rather spend money on getting chicken strips from Chicken Express, and not Raising Cane's.

This is the slowest place I’ve ever been to. Been sitting in line for over 30 minutes. It would be faster (and probably better) to drive 10 min down the road to the one off Hulen.
I think I could go to the store, buy the ingredients, and make the chicken from scratch faster than this.
Watched them compete my order and set it on the counter next to the register for an additional 5 minutes

Should have read the reviews before coming here. Had lunch here and it was legitimately bad. Trying to find a single good thing to say, other than my order came out quickly.
The main issues: -Restaurant was dirty from the interior (especially the tables, floors, and trash cans) to the exterior -Employees were not friendly, bordering on hostile -Employees were hardly working, just wrapped up in chit chat when clearly there are a million things to do -Did not receive any napkins or see any napkin dispensers on tables or elsewhere -Gravy was congealed and looked nasty -Several of the tenders were shriveled and barely more than a single bite worth of food -Management is non existent, and not deserving of your support or hard earned money
Went in with high expectations and left grossed out, disappointed, and hungry! Definitely will not be returning to this location ever again but also now I’m hesitant to go to any other Chicken E location in the future based on this bad experience.
Honestly this place is awful. Where’s management? You will wait in line for minimum 20 minutes no matter how small your order is. Good customer service is out the door with this place & they don’t care bc management doesn’t care. The amount of times I see my order is complete and just sitting on the counter bc everyone’s texting, talking, goofing around, drinking their sodas & not concerned about getting the customer their order is astounding. My son loves this place otherwise I’d never be back simply because of the attitudes of the employees & how they make you feel like a nuisance for even ordering.

Chicken Express tonight 9-14-24... Noticed the last few times we've gone to Chicken express (drive thru) that it is not as customer friendly as it used to be & our orders are now usually incorrect & need to be checked before leaving. Tonight's order (& they weren't that busy) was mainly thrown together with a family order of gravy lid not being on good so the gravy leaked out over my pkgs of cookies. The extra biscuit (tiny) was placed under the family gravy container so it was pretty well smashed. Their chicken tenders are smaller than they used to be. My 1 piece fish order was sort of "torn" into 2 pieces & smaller than usual. You can do better Chicken E!

This makes my 2nd time at this Benbrook location… both times I have asked for my okra to be cooked well done, I specifically asked if I could get my okra well done and the man said… ABSOLUTELY !! Well, it wasn’t, yep, you guessed it… NICE AND SLIMY ! I asked for the 3 piece, which came with mashed potatoes… then I said could I get okra as well… well done !! ABSOLUTELY !! So when I get my order, I didn’t get mashed potatoes… he said that’s because you ordered okra !! I said I wanted both… he said I will have to charge you ! Hell, I don’t care what it cost… I need mashed potatoes to ! Then I asked for 2 LRG Ice Teas 1/2 and 1/2. With extra ice ! I got full blown SWEET TEA !! Too DAMN SWEET FOR ME… THATS LIKE DRINKING SUGAR WATER !! COME ON PEOPLE GET IT TOGETHER !!

The staff isn’t very nice. When I said thank you for my food, no “you’re welcome”, no “enjoy”, just very unfriendly. I asked for my food for here and when I knew I needed a box, I went back to the counter and asked for one. Again, the staff limited their response. Just a very ugly atmosphere. I will make sure to go to a different location next time. A smile goes a long way guys!
Also I find it interesting that NO ONE is responding to these reviews. They obviously don’t care enough, or they would respond.
