Pork belly left something to be desired. But, the coleslaw that came with it, the best I've ever had. The service is amazing waitress is super fun, nice, and personable. The Young lady tending bar was very polite and I saw her cut a couple off. She handled it with ease, sincerity, and was exceptionally polite. The brie is great, and their in house potatoes chips. They taste great. The bar selection and wine selection rival anything you would find in Austin or San Antonio. I can't say enough about the staff and the atmosphere. You would never know you are in a small town in Texas.

I had a friend visiting, and we decided to check out a restaurant with a cozy, small-town vibe. Let me tell you, we weren't disappointed! The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was great to see other diners dressing up for a fun night out. I really love that touch of fashion that makes the evening feel extra special.
Our service started off really well, but it kind of slowed down once the restaurant got busy. No biggie though!
They’re known for their potato chips, which were exactly what you'd expect—potato chips! It would have been fun if they had paired them with a unique dip to make them stand out a bit more, but hey, I appreciate their effort!
We shared a wedge salad that was delightfully fresh and crispy, which is always a good sign!
My friend ordered the filet, and it was cooked to perfection—so tender and nicely seasoned. I went for the Picanha, asking for it medium, but it arrived well done, which made it a bit tough. Plus, the chimichurri sauce could’ve used a little extra something. So, I wouldn’t recommend that dish.
Now, on to the highlight: the Dauphinoise potatoes! Oh my goodness, they were absolutely magical! I’d drive out just for those every day if I could. I’m already thinking of reasons to make the trip back!

Sides are insane & don't miss the sweet potato puree. The Shrimp Cocktail amazing.

Very surprised to walk into this beautiful place. We came for brunch. The Eggs Benedict was the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back. The only negative is that the noise is so loud it was hard to hear my husband taking.

Too expensive. But I applaud the owners for investing in Bertram. It was a fun evening. Very very loud. Food was good but the $75 porterhouse steak was worth no more than $30. Others enjoyed their mahimahi. Iwould go back for atmosphere and appetizer or appetizer.

We went on 2/13 so yes it was a busy night but our reservation was at 6pm so very early. We were sat at a table very close to a table of 4 that was loud so we asked to be moved and we were told no and the restaurant was half full at this point. Looking at the menu, the sides are not diabetic friendly. Most restaurants have a roasted veggies option. The special had roasted veggies that was not on the menu and I explained that I was diabetic and asked if I could substitute and she asked the chef and he said no. So if you have medical conditions DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!! THEY WILL NOT ACCOMMODATE YOU!!!! Then we ordered steaks medium and they came out well done and cold. I stabbed it several times with my fork and it wouldn’t go in it was so tough. My husbands had herb butter on it and it was so cold the butter was not melting. They offered to recook our meal but it took an hour to get that and we were not interested. The excuse was that it was hard to cook 200 steaks in one night…….it was very early in the night and the restaurant was half full so 200 steaks had not been cooked and if they would cook them to requested temp instead of cooking them too long and the servers not letting them sit until they are cold, maybe they would be able to get them out faster. Even free we would not go back because they DO NOT MAKE MEDICAL ACCOMMODATIONS.

Spent my birthday here and it was absolutely great. Our server, James, was a rockstar, the Steaks were cooked perfectly, and the bartender, Carly, made stellar cocktails!
