Hibachi Express is my favorite takeout in town! It’s my go to and get it constantly. I find myself missing it whenever I leave big spring for long periods of time. You really get a bang for your buck. Forever my favvvvvv
First off, most of the food I have had here is pretty good. Never really had an issue until the orange chicken. My first time having it here, it was amazing. Their orange sauce is the best, in my opinion. Every time after that, it has been mostly inedible (3-4 times). The chicken is just over cooked, some pieces the fork won't even go into it (those being the smaller pieces that fry fastest). I think I got 3 or 4 edible pieces out of this. It was alright—good for a quick bite but not especially memorable. The portions were generous and the food came out fast, which is a plus. The chicken and shrimp had decent flavor, but the fried rice was a bit bland. Soy sauce helped, though! Service was polite but not very engaging. Overall, it’s a convenient option if you’re craving hibachi without the full sit-down experience.
