First time here and very neat and interesting place! LOVE the paintings on the wall - gives it character!! Food was very good and seasoned !! Even the salad was fries were good!!!

The waitress was sweet but inattentive. Communication was awful and they upcharged for stuff that wasn't even on our plates. My wife's salad was missing several ingredients and the ones that were there were brown and wilting. Will 100% never go here again. They charge for water!!

They told me $4 a shot and then when I went to leave they said " oh no, it's $14 a shot, if you don't pay for $14 a shot then I will call the cops".They were very adamant that I pay for something in which I had not received. I talked to the owner and she threatened to call the cops on me threatening that I was drunk even though I was not misbehaving and also not drunk. Do not trust these people, they are liars and thieves....

First time here and won't be the last we came in with 17 hungry people they had 1 server and 1 cook then later another server showed up to help and let me tell you they absolutely took care of us without missing a order or a drink that's very tough to do at one time with that little staff give them all the stars they deserve more but can only rate so high you have to come in and enjoy amazing food and service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️?
We went to J Jayz to have a beer. I saw that they had a Newspaper displayed proclaiming that they have the Best Margarita in Big Springs. I asked the waitress about it. I asked how much are the Margaritas. The waitress said oh I don't know it depends. So she showed me their house tequila (Montezuma of which is cheap tequila) I said ok I will have one with little to no ice please. She served it to me full of ice of which I eventually took out with my hands as she never came back to check on us. My husband had a beer. When we got our bill - she had charged me $11 for the margarita. Too pricey - and it was definitely not the best Margarita. It was ok but I was not a happy patron. Your wait staff/ servers need to do alot better.

Never ever eat here while stopping through town! The worst service I have ever had! Overcharged for things not even ordered (3 separate people taking orders and delivering food… no one knows what is happening). And charged $1 each for drinking water. Just don’t bother with this place!!

Jaslin was amazing! Not being from town, she had the perfekt recommendations about where to go and what the vibe is there. She was attentive and very friendly. She made the whole experience amazing ^_^
Came here and watched the setting sun bounce off the walls. Seemed like a very friendly place, with friendly patrons and nice waitstaff. Reminded me of places in Deadwood SD ,old saloon vibes. Food was decent, however, I order mash potatoes and...That's exactly what I got..Mash potatoes, no gravy. Nada... Steak kind of expensive for the quality. Salsa was good, queso not bad.. Guacamole!?!.. Don't usually eat it after it starts to turn dark.. I would eat here again probably. Try something else though..Wasn't impressed with the steak quality.

Disappointed! In area for business and rain cut our day short. Looked on Google for a place to eat and have a few drinks with the guys and decide on this little spot. The food was ok, but drinks were overpriced. Not very busy yet service was slow. Ordered a burger, one beer, and one cocktail drink. Bill was 44 dollars with a forced 7 dollar gratuity on everyone's ticket. When I received that ticket, it made me feel like I was scammed. After paying and receiving signature copy of receipt, I looked In the spot that normally says tip "where I normally write (on table) so the server knows there is money on the table" it said (additional tip). HA! No way. Between myself and my crew, the business charged us a whole separate over priced bill with the forced gratuities. when I asked the server if the tip went to her, she said NO!

The cobb salad was the worst I’ve had: Barely ripe tomatoes, no cucumbers and the crispy chicken pieces looked like it came out of frozen bag! And they charge for a glass of tap water.
