As good as it gets for small town dining! Patty melt was sensational and well-seasoned, and the owners were exceptionally kind.
Parking: The parking lot can handle 18 wheelers or large trucks and trailers as well as any size car!

Great place and great food, definitely the best burgers in town. The owners are nice, you just don’t get that kind of service and food anymore. The owner told us that they are using the same recipes the original owners used for over 50 years. Make sure to stop in and give them a try.

Call before you go to make sure they’re open. Hate driving to town to eat during business hours and they’re closed. When they’re open, the food has been really good.
Good food. If I could go anywhere for onion rings, this would be the place.
The food is excellent the service is friendly. Their food is made to order so there is usually a wait but it is well worth it. The owners are nice and So are their family members that help run the cafe. They never bat an eye on difficult request when adding or removing items and splitting my burger. I’ve heard they have good onion rings, they don’t they have EXCELLENT onion rings. They have brisket from time to time so if you get the chance to get I would recommend the Blackwell city cafe.

Fantastic food, friendly service and people. Looking forward to eating there again.
Great memories of Blackwell in the 1960's as a youngster. My uncle, Melvin Childers and my aunt, Lora Childers, lived in Blackwell. (The Childers family were long term residents.) My cousin Dave and I had wonderful adventures roaming the countryside with our 22 rifles. Great times!!
Nice people and good food.
