People should be comings from all over the state to eat at this establishment. Our beautiful female server was kind, informative and patient with us. Crab cakes, and the steak special were out of sight, and fairly priced. Chocolate cake was large enough for 4 to share, and delish. The wine was perfect. My family ate at Ruth Chris a week before, and this steak was SO MUCH better. Top notch, Bravo to the owner and staff!

steak was good but felt kinda like they didn't want us because we didn't have a reservation and the bread tasted rotten but the steak was really good

A great dinner restaurant in Blanco. An upscale dining ambience inside. I've had a couple of steak dinners here since they converted from a breakfast/lunch restaurant to dinner only. Same great owners and chef. Disregard all the breakfast and sandwich info and photos on Google Maps. None of that applies! However, it's a worthy of a 5-star rating for Blanco and the surrounding area. Some reviews have mentioned that it's overpriced. I think their pricing is on target. I highly recommend it.

The best place to eat in Bulverde. It's a little pricey but it's worth it.

Excellent steaks comparable with some of the best steak houses in Austin at a fraction of the price. Cozy atmosphere with great service. Does not have a full bar but has a very good wine list.

Great food! Great Texas wines. My wife and I shared a house salad which was quite big and delicious. She ordered the halibut and I ordered the fried shrimp. We were both very happy with our meals. The halibut was not overcooked like most places overcooked fish which we were really grateful for. Chef Steve and host Emily and their entire staff are fantastic! They also have Texas wines. We ordered the Mourvedre from William Chris which we highly recommend.

Our party of 5 had a reservation at 645 and one of our party arrived ahead of the rest, was seated and wine ordered when the rest arrived. We tried 3 apps - spinach artichoke dip, stuffed jalapeños and crab cakes. I am a crab cake snob and these were pretty good. Four of us ordered steaks which were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. A tuna steak with as also seared perfectly. Sides are family style and we tried Brussel sprouts, jalapeno mac n cheese and a loaded potato. All were great! We brought home a turtle cheesecake to share with- great flavor and very light. Nice wine selection also! Our server was attentive and the owner/manager was also. For us, this is a new higher end food option! No photos unfortunately 😣

I think a lot of the high scoring reviews are from when this was a breakfast place. It is dinner only now and I had heard great things about it. Summary: Food was average and certainly not worth what we paid.

Calamari was the special as a starter and was excellent! We all had specials for dinner. The scallops were too small but prepared well in a very good cream sauce. The $51 prime rib (just the prime rib for that cost) was just average, not worth the price. Who knows about the $47 fillet my son ordered as a special because it was covered in a sauce they failed to mention with sub standard scalloped potatoes, again not worth the price.

The two shareable sides were a loaded baked potato and brussel sprouts. The sprouts were good but the potato was an average size potato for $13 and overdone.

Our total meal was $190 before tip which I don’t mind paying at all for a good meal. This was a disappointment. We won’t be back.

This place was one of my favorite brunch places, so I was saddened by the fact that they decided to become a dinner on steak house. I am very happy with the dinner menu and the staff has transitioned well. The chef/owner is still the heartbeat of the restaurant! If you are in the area it is worth a stop! The food is great the people are super friendly, you will be happy you stopped in.

A great place to celebrate a special event. We learned that table in the place that night was celebrating an anniversary.

We shared a filet, a baked potato and brussel sprouts. All were terrific! The server was friendly and helpful.

The cost was high ($100), but we expected that.

The only negative was that the glasses of wine we ordered had very short pours. If we had known they gave such small pours, we would have either bought a bottle or shipped the wine altogether.

Absolutely amazing service! We are celebrating my husband's birthday, and they went above and beyond! When we got to our table, they had a birthday card for my husband and cute little bday confetti placed on our table. They made it very welcoming and personal. Atmosphere and food was great as well. Excellent experience overall!
