Online it says they close at 7, the door says 9. Got there at 5:40. Wasn't greeted, anything we ordered, we were met with some excuse of why we couldn't have it. We gave up and left and they locked the door behind us. Never got any apologies or explanation.

Editing my review. My apologies to this location and it's owner. I mistook you for a different location.

We almost didn’t go here because the stars were a little low. I was so glad we decided to go anyway. The food was hot and fresh. The place was very clean and the employees were very polite. We will definitely be back when driving through Blanco.

There were flies everywhere. My fried pickles tasted old and over fried. I didn't get the corn i added on my order.

40 minutes to get 2 orders of chicken tenders is ridiculous and the red head kid was very rude when I asked how much longer

I hate that I buy a meal and can't get a ranch. I mean I could but I only had a debit card and they won't charge it for less than $1 and the ranch was $0.25. They did say I could change my gravy for the ranch but who really wants to do that.

Waited almost 30 minutes in the drive thru and my husband had to go inside to get our food because it was ready but for some reason wasn’t being brought out. Went inside to ask for honey mustard and she wanted us to pay 25 cents for it and refused to give us one for free despite the long wait and terrible service. She told me she’s the franchise owner but she can’t let go of a 25 cent sauce?? Wow, I’d rather drive to the bulverde location than ever return. She also told me this isn’t a “fast food” restaurant, why is it called chicken EXPRESS.
Mixed feelings. Chicken strips were hard and dry, chicken thigh and corn nuggets where delicious.

This is the best run of the Chicken Express locations I visit. The owners are often on site working in the restaurant themselves. CE is number two on my rankings of chicken places, but not by much. Their spicy strips are spicy without adding powder and their green beans are a family favorite.

Waited 13 minutes with 1 car in front of me for a single drink. Ended up having to squeeze between 2 cars to leave without getting my drink because who knows how much longer i would have waited. Not sure what they ordered, but they probably should have been asked to pull forward since it was taking that long. Food at chicken x is generally already made unless it's something made to order like the fried fish.
The chicken x in Marble Falls and burnet will both walk your drinks out to you. They are also $1 for a drink at those locations. Blanco charges more for some reason. This location is terrible.

I stopped here on the way home from San Antonio. The service was fast and the people were very friendly. The chicken tenders were fresh and delicious you can tell they care about your food. This was truly some of the best I have eaten at this chain restaurant.
