Do you, your family, your friends (And that person you want to impress) a favor and take them to FBG! The staff are all very accommodating and the portions are gargantuan, 3 locations that are each unique and have their own ambience (Yes, I've been to all 3). 1) Ironhorse Saloon: Blanco (Only bar in Blanco serving liquor) 2) Mountain Breeze: New Braunfels (RIGHT on the river. Breathtaking view!) 3) Maggie Mae's: Austin (Yes; THAT Maggie Mae's, on 6th Street directly across from Joe Rogan's 'The Comedy Mothership'!!! They also Door Dash, so you can make embarrassing noises while eating in the privacy of your own home. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Absolutely AMAZING food and atmosphere! Everyone was super friendly. Kevin on the grill, food was absolutely FANTASTIC! I had their spicy mother clucker with their house chips! Mmwahhh! Delish, perfectly seasoned and the crunch, YUMMM!! Clucking DELISH!! Hubs had the Better Burger with their beer battered fries and it was the better burger to say the least. Fries were so delicious as well. Shelby behind the bar was super friendly and very attentive! Thanks girl! If you wanna take a drive to Blanco and enjoy delicious food, this is the SPOT!

I have been coming to Fat bottom for over a year and it has always been my go to for excellent eats. The owner is the kindest man who makes you feel like family and has a true passion for culinary arts. His chefs do an excellent job of keeping his reputation intact as one of the best spots in the Hill Country. There is nothing on the menu that won't amaze you and leave you wanting more. I am glad to see them expand and reach more people. This is the best food in Blanco and a hidden gem. Don't hesitate to support this business. I guarantee you will not regret it.

I had the cheesesteak and it was hands-down the best I’ve ever had—lots of rich, savory flavor and clearly made fresh to order. Every bite was delicious! The fried pickles were just as impressive—perfectly crispy with a flavorful breading that didn’t overpower the pickle. And the pickles are spears, which I love.
The atmosphere was also a huge highlight. It’s so relaxing to sit right on the river while you eat. Peaceful views, great food, and a chill vibe. Can’t wait to come back!

Tried this place for the very 1st time my sisters & I got the loaded beer fries with brisket it was absolutely delicious we loved it the employees were so nice 🩷
