My friends recommended this place as the best slow cooked BBQ in the hill country. Tried and agree. Thick cuts of briskets with even the lean cuts being super tender - slow smoking done right. Potato salads and cream corns had a homemade warm flavor compared to other places. The pickled onions were tasty and interesting. Very friendly staff. It took a minute to get a seat but it was totally worth it. I've tried pretty much all the local joints, and Old 300 BBQ has possibly the best brisket I've had. This will absolutely not be the last time I stop here. The smoked turkey was phenomenal as well, not dry at all.
Friendly personnel & delicious food! We had the brisket, coleslaw, potato salad, & pinto beans. Love the family style concept & you can prepare your leftovers yourself to go. Terrific!!
