We found this lovely little café while staying at the Tillman Resort. We’ve since moved from the camping grounds to our own property, but we still stop by whenever we can — it’s just that good.
The breakfast is great, the lattes are even better, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The pancakes and fried potatoes are delicious, the breakfast burrito is always satisfying, and everything tastes fresh and homemade.
You can always see the owner there, working hard - it really shows how much passion goes into this place. The staff is always friendly, the vibe is relaxing, and the food never disappoints.
If you're in the area, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend — you’ll love it!

We were on one of our morning road trips around Texas and found this little cafe near the river with great food and superb service. While we try to try new places. We will be back.

We always make sure to stop here for breakfast while staying in Blanco! Amazing café lattes and meals made from scratch and with tons of love! The staff is welcoming and a delight, we plan to check out the Resort during our next stay. I recommend the pancakes and the Mexican breakfast plate(homemade corn and flour tortillas-the frijoles refritos as well) and the Texas Breakfast plate had the most delicious red potatoes!

Pro’s: They use organic food. They’re very nice people. They serve breakfast all day. No waiter/no tip
Cons: Expensive. I paid $50 (no tip) for two and a half people eating breakfast. The food was also mediocre. The salsa had no heat. No sweet tea and the coffee situation here is terrible.

I am hesitant to share how fantastic this café is. I don't want to share. But Rio Blanco Cafe deserves a great review! It is an absolutely delicious and you could see the nutrients from the farm fresh ingredients popping off the plate wanting to melti in your mouth! The owners and servers were absolutely wonderful! It felt like family! Thank you Rio Blanco Cafe for a lovely, tasteful, nutritious meal! I hope to see you all do great! But hopefully not too packed.

Such a cute café! The food was tasty whether you are looking for breakfast or lunch, we had both! Interesting mix of Latin and Texan favorites. Beautiful view of the river! Great coffee!

We traveled from Houston to stay in Wimberly. We wanted breakfast before we headed back to Houston. We saw this place on Google maps 30 minutes out of the way and we said let's go why not. Much to our delight, the food was amazing! From the coffee to the sopes. Everything made in house from scratch. Felt like we were at a restaurant in Mexico City for a while. Just the black beans alone tasted amazing. Will definitely come back here whenever we are in the area.
