What a beautiful dinner! We were traveling from Rockport to Dallas last night and just Googled the nearest open restaurant. Such a wonderful, pleasant surprise! I was a bit worried when we walked in and I saw the table settings and the beautiful historical building because we were under dressed and a bit scrappy looking. But we were made to feel so welcome. We ordered the Chicken Fried Steak that was served with Mashed Potatoes and the best Glazed Carrots. And an off menu special...
Birthday celebration for our 2 adult children along with family. Absolute beautiful atmosphere, amazing and friendly staff. Service was outstanding and excellent. Our food was scrumptious and delicious. I should have taken pictures of our amazing food. The appetizers, entrees Ana down to the crème brûlée and cheesecake were amazing. Vivian was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing and “spot on” with everything. She was the absolute best. We will definitely return....
