Interesting place. I had country fried steak, mash potatoes and the best okra I have ever eaten. I heard there hamburgers are really good.Then to top it off I had banana pudding.I highly recommend this place to eat. It might look shabby but the food is really good.

I walked in right before the lunch rush they were just opening, very dark low light atmosphere, it's a bar. But if you hate bright lighting like i do then its great. I Ordered a burger and fries. It was incredible, big flavorful juicy paddy, toasted bun and the veggies were as fresh as could be. The fries were crispy but not overcooked, fryer oil must be changed regularly, good flavor. I'm going to try the catfish platter next time. I don't know the name of the cook but you rock.

If you want PC, don't go here. LOL. Good old country bar and grill. I half expected Sam Elliot of Patrick Swayze to walk out! The chicken fried steak, salads, and sides were great. Even though they are pretty much the only place around to eat, they are really good w/out the competition. Maybe they ran everyone off by being awesome? :)
