Venturing into this local donut shop, I found myself experiencing a mix of the highs and occasional lows mentioned by others. The charm of a small, mom-and-pop establishment is immediately apparent, offering a warm and genuinely friendly welcome that sets a pleasant tone for the visit. It’s clear this isn't a large chain, and that intimate atmosphere is definitely part of its appeal.

On the product front, the donuts truly live up to the hype from many positive reviews. They taste freshly made, and while the variety might not be extensive, what they do, they do exceptionally well. I can certainly see why some consider them among the best. The kolaches, particularly the savory options like the sausage and cheese, are a highlight – savory and satisfying, perfect for a quick breakfast.

However, I did encounter the common lament: they do seem to run out of donuts surprisingly early. It's a double-edged sword; a testament to their popularity and freshness, but also a bit disappointing if you arrive hoping for a specific choice only to find limited options. Despite this minor snag, the overall quality of the pastries and the genuinely welcoming service make this a place worth visiting. It's the kind of spot you could easily find yourself returning to day after day, provided you get there early enough for the full selection!

Every time I go, they are out of donuts. The Kalachi's are your run of the mill pigs in a blanket and were always cold. Not a horrible place but they could do better with freshness and maybe have a better variety of donuts, and not run out of donuts so early. I get it. You don't want to make more than you can sell but every time I've gone, there in hardly any donuts and the choices are whatever they have left over...

Best donuts we have found in our travels across the US. Small place with a friendly owner. They don’t try to make hundreds of types of varieties, but what they have is great. We ended up coming back day after day during our stay in town.
