The service was horrible on the second floor and Helen Eileen what ever her name was ,was rude cursed at me and was saying derogatory things about me and my friends she made the drinks and it correctly, then fought with me about how the drink should be made stating that there’s no such thing as an extra dry very dirty martini and then didn’t even know how to make a simple drink as a hurricane, and then yelled at me about how to make it. I don’t go to the bar because I know how to make my own drinks, but I know how to make a hurricane in which she gave me was not a hurricane and then she got mad at me about it and that’s what I didn’t want anything and so she started cursing at me and was disrespectful and rude. This is a surprise that this place has lasted this long with service like that. The waitress is too busy on TikTok to even check on us or see if we needed anything. My friend even left her huge tip at the end and she was still being rude and disrespectful maybe some etiquette classes would help or maybe going to some social skills because this restaurant is definitely lacking in both

Make sure you get Sky as your server. She's the best. She knows the place really well and knows what dishes to recommend (even though they are all delicious). Do not bypass the shrimp kisses as an appetizer and the blackened fish is better than new orleans. Wonderful restaurant.

Friday afternoon I come a little after 4 and immediately place a simple order to-go, 2 cheese enchiladas plates and a side of queso. 30 minutes go by and I ask, she said they printed the ticket but just started making it. I sit back down at the bar and the bartender asked me about a minute or two in, what's the name on the order to go check on it. I'm not expecting speedy fast food but this should have been quicker. The hostess didn't offer an apology or much, it was just basically the way it was. She brings out food another 10 minutes. I say thank you, in a polite manner and she doesn't say you're welcome, sorry, or anything.

The food was delicious with nice sized portions. The service was fast and friendly.
Food was really good, margaritas were great and service was AMAZING!!! Our server was Janet and she was also the bartender because they were short staffed. She worked so hard and NEVER once looked annoyed or stressed. We will be coming back next time we visit that's for sure.

The quality of food is inconsistent. I have had more so-so to not-so-good meals than quality meals. The restaurant is in dire need of a thorough cleaning. The staff’s friendliness is also hit-and-miss. On the plus side, Jose’s is open more frequently than nearly any other restaurant on the peninsula (including Tuesday’s.) Mixed drinks are okay- little weak.
