Over the past week, I visited Gayle’s three times, and each visit only solidified the praise I had previously heard about this place. While Gayle’s is famous for its crawfish boils during the season, they offer an array of dishes that showcase the same exceptional quality and freshness year-round.
On my visits, I was particularly impressed with the Chicken Fried Steak. It was fork-tender, the kind of dish that melts in your mouth. The gravy? It was a revelation, rich and creamy, exactly what gravy should be. Paired with classic mashed potatoes, it’s a meal that brings back memories of home.

I’m from LA and I’ve never had jambalaya like this. And not in a good way. The steak bites were good but the Cajun food was greasy and bland ditto on the sampler platter. Not a fan at all. Also the menu online is incorrect

The chicken fried anything here is out of this world good. I haven't tried anything else other than the chicken fried steak and chicken. Awesome real homemade mashed potatoes. It's not a fancy place. But if you need a meal to stick to your ribs,this is your place.

I tried the chicken fried steak. And I got my brother the burger. Both items were large portioned and tasted delicious. The staff was friendly and on my mama they had the best Dr. Pepper I've ever had. Will definitely be returning. :)
The food quality has declined. They wouldn't serve us at 10:30a.m. due to transitioning from breakfast to lunch. They refused to serve us. We had to go somewhere else to eat. And it was very disappointing. When we walked in the hostess seated us and handed us lunch menus. But we couldn't order for 30 min. So we left.

We love the house salad. My wife only gets 30 mins for lunch so it's hard for us to have lunch together. Courtney is on point. I told her we only had 30 mins and she was very helpful. We love it

Not sure on star rating because service was absolutely unacceptable. Would give negative if possible for service and wait time. Breakfast for three was delicious, well prepared. The food at Gayle's is always good regardless the time of day but the service is lacking. Have been eating at Gayle's since grand opening of restaurant. Won't be back after yesterday's breakfast disappointment.
