This place deserves more reviews. It’s small and I know the owner is always working when we come in. My son-in-law always gets the spicy catfish all you can eat and that boy tears it up!! Hush puppies are phenomenal. I can just eat those. Definitely excited when I get the chance to eat there. I know I have to wear my fat pants for a couple days but worth it!
Completely exceeded expectations. The fried catfish is some of the best I’ve ever had — and that includes fresh-caught, homemade catfish my grandparents made growing up on Lake Buchanan. Excellent apple pie and cheesecake. Hush puppies were great, beans were flavorful, our son had a bacon cheeseburger and it was juicy and fantastic.
Counter service, everything (minus dessert) cooked after you order it, so yes, it takes time, but worth it.

Just a good place to eat. Always enjoy their chicken fried steak and the owners are awesome and welcoming. They really support the United States veterans and just glad they were open on our trip through on Saturday labor day weekend
