Used to come here pretty often around the time this location opened up. While it did lower some of the portions over time, the quality stayed the same. Juicy, well seasoned, fall apart brisket, ribs, and pork. Only issues I've ever had, were the drinks either tasting weird, old, or had ice in them after asking for no ice. But really, if you're going to some place called Fat Boys BBQ, you're going there for meat. Not drinks. I'd recommend the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches. Along with or just some ribs. they are a tad bit on the pricier side, but damn is it worth it.

I came here for the first time during lunch while traveling for work. The first thing I noticed was that there isn't a diner so I had to eat in my vehicle which was a little difficult. I ordered the two meat plate with ribs, sliced brisket, beans and potato salad. The brisket was dry and just bland. The ribs were pretty good. The beans reminded me of ranch style beans with sugar in them. The potato salad reminded me of mashed potatoes with a lot of mayonnaise in it which I kinda liked even though it was different since I love mayonnaise. Overall, the food was not as good as I was expecting or hoping for and the lack of tables to sit at was a damper.

Tommy and Silvia generously donated food for 50 plus people for the reception after my father’s funeral. The food was delicious and the sentiment meant so much to me, my brother and sister. Thank you so much!

Tommy and Silvia are amazing people. They catered the reception for my father’s funeral and provided enough delicious BBQ to feed an army. Thank you so much!

I really enjoy trying bbq, and this brisket and turkey were definitely one I look forward to not trying again. Ordered the brisket sandwich and a quarter lbs of turkey. The best part of the sandwich was the onions. The bread seemed like school lunch bread and the brisket wasn't noteworthy. The turkey was very salty and the slices were extremely thin. Almost like a deli cut. For good bbq, I would recommend other spots.
Also the side selection sucks

I ordered a whole smoked chicken. I made chicken salad out of it. All 9f it was juicy and not dried out. I made my salad and it tastes wonderful! Before I was buying my smoked chicken out of town. Now, I will absolutely buy from Fat Boys in Bridge City. Excellent food!

I've eaten BBQ all over Texas, and this doesn't even rank. It was greasy and the portions were too small. The baked beans were sweetened ranch style beans, the green beans came with what I assume is boiled pork and grease, the sauce tasted like straight up vinegar, and the potato salad was drenched in mayo. I'm giving 1 star because it was in general, edible.
