I really enjoyed this place. It's a layed back place, sitting at your table with family, I believe they do serve beer... and the older gentleman that introduced himself when we came in was one of the reasons we go back, besides the food and waitress. "Nearly everything". Kids meals came in huge portions and the seafood platter mix my kids split was amazing. Everything was excellent. I most definitely will be going back soon and telling everyone...

I made the mistake of ordering this place to go and on a day they were extremely short handed. I was patient with the wait which was almost an hour because I do understand being short staffed. My mother ordered the chicken fried chicken with white gravy and a baked potato on the side, we got no gravy and the chicken steak was cut up and put on the potato which my mother really did not like and she said it was not crunchy. I ordered the catfish ponchatrain and added some shrimp for a couple more dollars but would not order shrimp again because it tasted like there was no seasoning at all which was disappointing cause they were a very nice size and the fish over white rice and the sauce was okay. I had really high hopes for this place so I will return for a second chance but my mother said she would not return.

We came by this place for a late lunch. The lady waitress was so sweet. The place looked run down. The owner was there and a younger lady come by arguing for her back bounced pay checks in front of us. Embarrassing. Husband liked his chicken fried chicken. I couldn't eat my hamburger steak due to it being so over salty and over seasoned. Sides and chicken and dumplings all were not good and tasted like leftovers from yesterday reheated. They were all overseasoned too..On a positive, let me say the sweet tea and cornbread are worth stopping by for. Owner needs to update the place bad. $45 for three to eat.

Great home cooked style meals. Service was great. Probably going to be a new regular eat-out place.

Since management change, I have had great service & food. I highly recommend Gramma's. THE MENU has expanded and the food is delicious.

I have eaten at Grandma's three times now and there won't be a fourth. The first time the food was good, but the service was horrible... I decided it was because they were newly opened and had kinks to work out. The second time the food was just ok, and again the service was horrible. The only staff there were two girls who were more interested in playing than working. I gave it one more chance today and I will NOT be going back! The food was ok (just barely) and again there were the same two girls working and definitely had other things they would rather be doing. When we finally had to ask for things again and again they made us feel like we were inconveniencing them and both had a very bad attitude. We were not asking for anything other than what you would expect at any restaurant without having to ask in the first place.....very unprofessional..... I'm beginning to see why their other restaurant closed.....

Man I was looking forward to going here but was left highly disappointed. The waitress barely said a word or even asked how the food was? The front staff was nice. CFC spud has no seasoning or fixings and you can tell the patty came frozen. My partners fish was bland and the french fries were eh. If I wanted freezer food, I'd buy it myself.

My Mother and I went around 12:30 p.m. spent almost $35 on lunch. We asked how large were the shrimps? The waitress took a shrimp off of another ladies plate to show us. (We should have left). We placed our order and it took almost an hour to get it. And when we did, the loaded baked potato was cold. No one never came and asked if everything was ok or if we needed refills on the drinks. Another couple at the other table had been waiting for almost an hour for their food, they were getting ready to leave. They were very polite but they really need some help.

My family and I recently evacuated and decided to stop and eat at Grandma's. We felt so welcomed and our waitress was absolutely amazing! I believe she said her name was Laray. She took excellent care of us and was so good with our daughters! With everything going on it was a huge relief to have such a great dining experience. We will definitely be back and we want our favorite waitress!

Really awkward being from outta town and everyone just kinda looks at you and you're looking back wondering how they do things here. Obviously it's my first time here, and me and my friend were craving catfish. I get that they're understaffed right now and whatnot, but long as the food delivered, that's all i care about. Sure enough it did. Fish was beautifully fried and tasted great, fries were a bit soft for my taste but they went well together.
