If you're reading this you are probably at least somewhat of an enjoyer of craft beer. If this place seems like the hours are too limited or it's a bit out of your typical driving distance...you are very wrong and you should make a trip out here ASAP. As a big time beer guy, this place is AMAZING. Phenomenal small-batch brews, especially their fruited sours. Go there. Get some stuff Togo before it sells out, and enjoy the delish!

This has to be the easiest review I have ever done. Let me give you a background. I grew up in Texas went to WA , CA, Hawaii and all over the world in the Navy. In CA they were known as the mecca of craft brews with Ballast Point and Stone Brewery. With that in mind Alpine which was also in CA was still my favorite IPA. My top 3 for IPA's were all CA craft brews with Elysian Space Dust(WA) a close third, but I could also add New Belgium Voodoo Ranger(CO) in that pairing . In coming back to Texas I was really surprised at how much the craft brew scene had grown. I love Karbach and really my favorite was Spindle Tap. Spindle Tap Houston Haze is amazing! I then went to a restaurant that had Baa Baa Brewhouse and had their hazy IPA and I was like this is IPA PERFECTION! The IPA is not available but more IPA's come available all the time and they are all awesome! I now stop by and buy as many as I can because this is on another level. Everything you thought you knew about IPA's will change at Baa Baa. Its the most unassuming place to find this beer but it is by FAR the best IPA I have ever had. I keep trying more and I am dumbfounded at how good this is. It has totally wrecked my perception of other IPA's. The only way I can describe it is having a prime steak and then you taste A5 Wagyu from Japan. Its not the same. I cant believe that this beer is coming form a place like this and it has to be known! If you are looking for the BEST IPA's look no further! Period!

This hole in the wall (or, really just a random garage door in a prefab metal building strip) has some of the best beer in Houston. They go heavy on the high-end ingredients, including lots of hop varieties for their IPAs plus lots of fruit for their smoothy sours. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff. Worth timing a visit within their very limited hours.

Their beer is great - especially their NEIPA's. But their tasting room is so aggravating and tiny that I find myself dreading spending time there. Even the outside area in the back is an afterthought, it seems, with unmowed grass, a few old picnic tables and a tarp or two for sun blockage. They're only open for 6 hours on Saturdays. And one other strange thing is that they don't distribute their beer to metro Houston, but distribute it to other parts of TX and even overseas! It makes no sense to me. I hope they can make some improvements or expand at some point since they seem to be quite successful with their beers.
My favorite local brewery! Super fun, handcrafted and creative. A must stop if you are in the area.

I’ve had the beer before and it’s great! As far as going here to hang, it’s pretty clicky. The regulars are noticed and served pretty quick. A lot of hanging out at register and talking to owners / workers, leaving people in line just chillin. Great product, and I think they know it, which is why the experience for newcomers doesn’t have to be that great. Good luck peeps!
