Ernesto's is a long-standing go-to restaurant for authentic, top of the line Mexican food. The newly remodeled location is a nice, modern, clean, and put-together place with a great atmosphere. The food is always great, delicious, and genuinely so good, staying true to its Mexican roots. Many dishes are highlighted, including the tamales, which have the perfect masa to meat ratio and are better than anywhere else. The quesadillas, including the steak quesadilla and kids chicken quesadilla, are bomb. Other praised items are the spinach enchiladas, street chicken tacos, fajitas, rice and beans, and charro beans, with a special mention for the salsa verde flavoring. The service is always good with attentive and kind staff, and the owner is welcoming. The prices are reasonable, the experience is great overall, and it is highly recommended for a truly satisfying meal.
