Came in with my daughter on her birthday and we were not greeted. I ordered two pink donuts and a chocolate, and she only gave me the chocolate. So then I said two strawberry iced and I turned around to grab a milk when she finally went for the pink donuts. Turn around, she gives me the total. I pay. A guy from the drive through walks in and complains he only got one each of the kolaches he ordered so, they have to get the rest of his order and ring him up. So I check my bag and I only ended up with one pink! So I have to wait… and when I tell her I wanted two she got me two more. At this point I’m over it and just pay and leave. Walking out I realize the only words she spoke to me was the total both times. Terrible service for only decent donuts.

The bread on the kolache was dry and oddly textured, unlike the kolaches I’m used to at Shipley’s, but everything else was good.
Seems like some of these comments are expecting a lot.

We waiting several minutes for a response from the guy at the window in the drive thru. He did not take our order at all!! When we finally left they were all just talking inside. We will definitely be going to a different Shipleys from now on.
