El agave mexican restaurant

I had the fajita chimichanga and for appetizer the bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos.

The only problem is that it was so good I couldn't stop eating and probably ruptured something ?

Molcajete Mexicana is the way to go they don't speak much English but the food is great and the beer is cold

Patrons beware! Be sure to check the menu prices because they overcharge you on the little electronic device that you use to pay. We ordered a nacho plate and a taco salad that were each listed in the menu as $12.99. We ordered an unsweet tea listed in the menu as cheaper. When the waitress brought the check, after waving her down because she wouldn’t check on us, she proceeded to argue that the price listed in the electronic machine was right. When I asked her to bring me a menu, she left and 5 minutes later she came back and said she took off $1.10 off the total. On top of that she stood right beside me while I inserted my card and said the first screen was for her tip. The choices are 18 percent, 20 percent and more. Needless to say I skipped the tip section and paid $40 for two $12.99 meals and an iced tea. We won’t be back because they know they are overcharging people

The atmosphere is good and so is the food. The only draw back is that you may have a language barrier. Some of the wait staff can't speak English. And it not one of those places where you can eat there every day but if you are passing through it alway a good choice. It about in the middle of the road as far as prices go but it's better than alot of the more expensive places in Lubbock or brownfield. Stop and try its a really good spot.

The server was nice. The music is a little loud if you’re not in the mood. It’s very busy but our food was delivered quickly. I choose the caldo de mariscos. It was not exactly what I was looking for but I will return again in the future.

When I leave my house to another place there is always the doubt where the food will be good ?,,The agave Mexican restaurant is good, the sauce and the tortilla chips tasted delicious, I ordered tripitas, they were good, the rice I liked it a lot and a hamburger that was delicious

This is a wonderful ❤️ place to relax with your family for a nice dinner!! They have AMAZING MEXICAN FOOD! Love the atmosphere! Friendly staff!
