Cotton Patch really isn't considered Mexican food.... But what they do have is always delicious! My favorite is the chicken fried steak. It's so huge and tastes almost as good as mine.

Don't ever order breakfast burritos from here. For one their very greasy and when you order what you want it they pack it in the smallest tortilla they have. Which makes for unwrapped tortilla that falls apart when you try to pick it up. Smith's in Bryson has way better and bigger burritos for the same price. Theirs aren't greasy and very well made. I'll NEVER order from Cottons again.

Food it so good it'll almost make you cuss! I had the fried catfish, my fiance got a large chicken fried steak. Both were hot, fresh, hand battered and delicious. The sides were homemade and the sweet tea was perfectly sweet. One other thing that normally might not get mentioned is the coleslaw but it is worth it's own review. All that (except the drinks) was only 11.95 per person! Bonus: portion were large enough they will be lunch tomorrow. Definitely worth the drive to Bryson, Texas.

Perfect stop to grab a bite to eat. A surprisingly large menu offered many selections. And the prices. Well let's just say they were unexpectedly low. The burger I ordered came out exactly as I wanted hot fresh with everything on it. I suggest you give this small town diner a try.

Terrible service and incredibly overpriced. Server seemed not to have any time or care in communicating with us. Took wine glass away when still wine in it. Spilled water on cellphone while pouring from the side of a pitcher and didn’t even stop until my date got pissed. Will never go back.

My brother had the chicken fried steak lunch special, and my son had a double cheese burger with bacon and tots, and I had the cheese enchilada lunch. This is a great place to eat. Good service. Excellent food. One of our favorite places
