Food was good but the service was not what was expected. Our server acted like we were an inconvenient and we kept having to ask for refills. We were only a table of 4. Great pizza for sure!

There’s a new Italian place called Amici’s that just opened up this week. It is sharing space with Stony’s Pizza at 9521 US-290. We went to Stony’s for a calzone (NY Style) then realized we could order from both restaurants and also tried the Shrimp Marinara. Last night was Amici’s fourth night in the new space. Used to be a very popular food truck in Buda. Please support this amazing new restaurant! If you remember Verona, let’s not do that again - everyone kept it a secret so it wouldn’t get busy but in the end that forced them to move to Lakeway. Go. Eat. Introduce yourself. Then tell your friends! I promise, you won’t be sorry.

Walked up when they weren't very busy. Service was fair, but not noteworthy in any way. Food was disappointing, mediocre at best, and not something I would recommend.

The bolognese was so good! Tasted like home. The half portion was a perfect size!

The prices for this low-quality food are atrocious. The entrees were undecorated, plain noodles with 4 shrimp thrown on top. They ran out of protein for the second entree. The salads were just a bit of tossed spring mix with 3 cherub tomatoes. Total cost was $103! Do not waste your time here - go to Ilario’s instead!!

Pretty expensive for food truck noodles, but everything I've tried here is the best version of that thing I've tried anywhere between Austin and San Antonio.

They catered our wedding and by far were the easiest and best vendor I worked with. I had a few people with serious dietary restrictions and they absolutely loved the meal. Service was great and there was excellent communication throughout the whole process. I literally cannot recommend them enough!

As a food critic, I have had the pleasure of dining at some of the most prestigious restaurants in the world. However, I recently stumbled upon a hidden gem that has left me speechless. Amici, a food truck that operates in the heart of downtown historic Buda, may seem like your average street food vendor, but don't let that fool you. Their restaurant quality dishes will blow your mind! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. The menu was extensive, offering a wide range of traditional Italian dishes that made it difficult to choose just one.I decided to go with the Spaghetti Carbonara, a classic Italian dish that I had been craving for a while. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was creamy and flavorful. The dish was a perfect balance of salty and savory, and I could not have been more satisfied. My family members opted for different dishes, including spaghetti puttanesca, penne vodka, penne bolognese, and garlic and oil. Each dish was prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail, and the flavors were simply divine. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the sauces were rich and authentic. What impressed me the most was the authenticity of the food. Having just returned from Italy, I can confidently say that the food at Amici was the exact same as what I had experienced in Italy. The ingredients were fresh, and the dishes were prepared with traditional Italian techniques.Another great aspect of Amici is that it's BYOB. This means that you can bring your favorite bottle of wine or beer to enjoy with your meal, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. In conclusion, I highly recommend Amici to anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience. Don't let the food truck fool you; the restaurant quality dishes will blow your mind! The friendly staff, attention to detail, and BYOB policy make it a must-visit destination for foodies and casual diners alike.

Amazing food and wonderful service! The cleopatra salad is my favorite - goat cheese, candied almonds, and you can’t forget the truffle honey dressing ? If you add chicken they give you your money’s worth and it’s so fresh and juicy. Highly recommend!

Kid-friendliness: Right by the park with games for kids too near outside seating

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free and vegetarian options are great!

We love the shrimp fra diavolo, Bolognese, and the Greek options! They always give us this amazing fresh, soft bread with our pasta dishes as well

We were excited to try Amici for the first time tonight and not only did we receive a delicious dinner, we received a sweet surprise with our delivery order as well. We ordered the Garlic and Oil Spaghetti with chicken and the Tartufo Fettuccine with shrimp and both were so good! The ornament and cookies were a totally unexpected and generous surprise. Even if our dinner hadn’t tasted good, we would order from Amici again purely because of this great experience. Thankfully, we’re looking forward to trying more dishes in the future. Thank you, Amici!!
