We always enjoy this place. Just went again and had a portobello entrée, chicken tenders and a meatless burger as well as a couple margaritas and everything was awesome. They were playing Radiohead and the Smiths. What else you want?

Great food & service at reasonable price...And the best flourless chocolate cake I've had in a long time with excellent flavor balance (not too sweet). Robbie gave us great service

So I was looking for a nice place to sit down and catch the game and heard about Brooklyns from a friend, so I stopped in. I was greeted by the hostess and sat immediately. First look at the menu I could see plenty of food options I would like. I was torn between the cheesy grits and shrimp and the gumbo. My lovely and knowledgeable server Christina answered all my questions and I went with this gumbo. Truly some of the best gumbo I’ve ever put in my mouth. A rich dark roux and plenty of spice! 🙌 …served with a generous helping of steamed rice. The portions were perfect as I could not take any home. The entree left me very satisfied. 😌 If you’re in the area I definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sat outside with my two littles and dog. Rene was not only SO patient with us, but ensured everyone was happy and taken care of frequently, despite us being the only table outside. We love Brooklyn’s, but Rene was truly the cherry on top this morning! We will be back soon!

Spent an hour chatting with the owner while I was there. A kind and sweet lady ( If you're seeing this, come Visit Orange County for Chinese hot pot) who runs a great establishment. The food was good, especially their bite sized offerings.

We came in with high hopes. The menu offered plenty of classic staples, and the drink selection was impressive, great for anyone looking for more than just a margarita. The food was good for the price, and our waitress was friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately, the experience was brought down by the bartenders and hostess, whose “too good to be here” attitude really killed the vibe. When you’re serving Deep South dishes, you’d expect that same warmth and hospitality to come through in the service. Thankfully, our waitress did her best to make up for it.

Brought a big group 10+ , immediately accommodated. Such a friendly space, owners mother showed me around they had a beautiful patio area and mentioned all catering options, the owner stopped by our table and checked in. Great food ! I had the catfish , fried alligator bites and a creme brûlée. Great selections! Enjoyed everything. You can tell they are very passionate. Loved it. Also our waitress was incredible ✨

Maybe I just come on the right days...but I swear the service here is better than anywhere else I go. It's so rare nowadays. I work at Meridian down the street and come here on my breaks. Shoutout to Piper and another bartender whose name I didn't get for delivering a great experience.

Made reservation for 8 two days prior to the event, called to confirm on the day of the event and they had no reservation so had to reserve again. Ordered 2 dishes that were off the happy hour menu which should have been half price but ticket did not show we were credited. We were charged 20% gratuity of $24.30 in addition to 3% credit card surcharge of $4.31. We were not told that these charges would occur automatically nor was it on the menu that we found. At the bottom of our receipt there was a suggested tip column which my husband saw and added a 20% tip on top of what had already been charged. Granted we should have gone line item by line item to make sure we weren’t ripped off but it didn’t occur to us Brooklyns has a policy that no other restaurant has that we’ve frequented. The right thing for their management to do would be to refund the additional 20%. Had the food been phenomenal (which it was not) it wouldn’t have been so upsetting when we realized we were charged a 40% tip on top of the card surcharge. Unfortunately lesson learned, always check your ticket before signing and leaving any restaurant!!

Menu has a lot of variety & vegetarian options. All 5 of us ordered a different meal & all were happy with presentation/flavor. Downside was the noise...it was loud & the parking on Main St. Buda on a Friday evening is almost non-existent...took 10+ minutes circling to find a parking spot. Recommend off hours visit.

the fried catfish was very bland and the grits tasted like cheesey corn on the cob. we returned the overcooked green fried tomatoes. No way this resembles Cajun food.
