Dan's Hamburgers - Buda

Ordered 1 order onion rings, 2 cheeseburgers and 1 order fries. Received fries, overcooked onion rings and cheeseburgers with NO cheese. Hadn’t eaten here in a while but what a disappointment!

It can sometimes be a very long wait through the drive thru line. Their food is always great though

Went here for the first time in a long time. We used to be regulars for Dans (mostly the S Lamar location). I got a medium hickory burger with bacon and a large drink. I didn’t order any sides. The total was almost $11 which seemed insane.

I got the burger and it was smaller than I remembered. Also the person at the drive through handed me a iPad so I could tip. This was the first drive through that’s happened to me which must be new. I did give a small tip out of courtesy but this isn’t a good look.

Finally the burger patties were over cooked and it had no sauce including the hickory sauce. So I didn’t even get what I ordered. It’s crazy to ask for a tip when you don’t even know at that time if your order will be right or not.

Finally stopped in for breakfast and it's as good as everyone kept telling me. Perfect diner feel, with reasonably priced, delicious hot food, served by an attentive and kind staff. 100% will be adding Dan's to our breakfast rotation.

Ordered the 4 piece chicken strip basket. Got 3 strips and a nugget. Recommend giving multiple pieces if you're going to give out a tiny chicken piece. 3 star because the food is good. However, may just consider sticking to Whataburger from now on, which is right next door.

The absolutely best Burgers!

It was a short wait this morning for breakfast. Food was good. Our waitress seemed to disappear. We needed to make a order to go. But it took forever for her to come back, we were not able to get or order. She said breakfast was over. I explained we were there early. But it didn't matter. And she did ask what we wanted to try to accommodate. We needed 1 bean and cheese and 2 sweet teas.

Friendly and fast. My hamburger order was missing a burger and I went around thru the drive thru and they gave me my order free for their mistake. Burger were so delicious. Was so juicy and meat was tender. I had fries. fries were so soft and had enough salt. Can't wait to go back

Went to Dan’s after a Longhorn game and all the food we had was delish. Great burger, serious old style with warmed buttered bun, excellent crisp onion rings. We don’t live nearby, but this location is fantastic and we’ll be back when we head to Austin again.
