I was expecting a burger joint but it’s fast food, which is fine because now rating a place is different than saying it’s a burger joint or fast food place geared towards kids. It has an out door picnic area with a playground. The place was a mess in the picnic table area, I mean a complete mess. I know it’s geared towards kids with the playground but my goodness it was a messy. The fries are that soggy style, which some people like. The employees were nice though.Update: the owner reached out to me and was very sorry. You don’t see that many times. If you have kids this is a great place to go.Kid-friendliness: Kids can run wild because there’s a playground.

Over the years service has changed and gotten less and less likely for us to return: the way the meals are served/ made now are filled with grease and make me sick right after: I also have lots of food allergies and used to be able to ask them to change their gloves and use a differnt cutting board etc etc. in fact, we would purposely come here because of how awesome they were about our food allergies now they acted shocked and confused when I asked them to wear gloves. When I mentioned I had a dairy allergy they still put cheese on my sandwich and I was very sick afterwards for about two or three days. It sucks that a place like this is really going downhill. There is one really tall guy that appears to like his job and take it seriously and he is always super kind and respectful to me. He doesn’t check the bags to ensure quality service : nor did they offer me a drink carrier: those are simple things we would need as humans: he is always so nice that I didn’t want to be rude or mean so I suffered with my sandwhich, no napkins, and then it backfired and I spilled my milkshake all over my car: it was a godsend because my car needed to be cleaned anyways, but it is still stressful for me whenever I used to brag this place up to everybody and then now I really kind of can’t take it seriously anymore.Vegetarian options: Vegan options too! Like the veggie burger but it’s total mush in the inside:Not like a burger at all. It’s okay on flavor though.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free folks beware and remind them multiple times it now seems to be a thing they forget: they used to be so good about this,

Really delicious veggie burger and burger bowls, far better than what fastfood places typically offer. Restaurant could use one more guy up front at any given time for questions because I dislike having to constantly interrupt people at their stations to come work the register. It's cheap, tacky, stressful, and the prices are high enough that they shouldn't be skeleton crewing the place.The decor needs more soft elements because the audio and lighting are horrible inside. The metal decorations are very echo prone and trying to speak and hear one another inside of Hat Creek is difficult, and I found the lighting harsh.The shakes are really delicious, but incredibly rich, be warned. Two straws should be the default, split it even though it's not very large. Any larger would be dangerous.Take home some cute Hat Creek cups for your kitchenVegetarian options: Very tasty veggie burger.

We sat in the drive through for over 45 minutes.The most frustrating part was the car in front of us got their meal for free. We had to wait just as long.The icing on the cake is they forgot one of our drinks and our food was frozen cold.We’ve been here quite a few times but it’s safe to say this will be our last.We could have went to a sit down restaurant and gotten our food faster.

We live a couple hours from the nearest Hat Creek. Luckily we were in Buda for a volleyball tournament and after a very long day decided to grab some hat Creek for the road trip home. So we went ahead and ordered over the Internet when we got to the restaurant. The food was ready to go. Hot , fresh and easy to pick up which was nice because they were very very busy on a Saturday around 2 o’clock, we thoroughly enjoyed our burgers and chicken sandwich and the loaded bacon cheese fries great place great food and great service will definitely stop next time we’re in town .

I love that hat creek offers delicious gluten free options and makes it easy to order. The good is consistent and always fantastic. It is really hard to find great fast food and especially difficult to find gluten free options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free fried chicken and buns available. No need to worry about fryer contamination either.
