the baked potato with brisket is probably the best bang for your buck on the menu. The most recent time i went i noticed the white queso on the baked potato was replaced with just regular shredded cheese and was so disappointed!!! please bring it back!! with that being said, the brisket, sausage and ribs are so tender, smoky and flavorful. this is absolutely one of the very few BBQ places that stays consistent with the quality of food they put out.

Hands down the best BBQ I have ever had. I don’t have photos because I ate everything, which honestly says a lot. Every bite was amazing and you can really taste the care and homemade quality in the food. The deviled egg salad was very good, and the customer service was the best. Someone in line in front of me said this place was worth driving states for, and I completely agree. I will definitely be a regular here.

This makes me so sad to give 2 stars! We’ve loved Louie’s since 2021. But we are so disappointed that the menu has changed. The Mac and cheese is just velveeta and noodles. We miss the queso! The turkey was dry and super salty. The brisket did not pass the bend test. Unfortunately this was the last time we’ll be visiting - time to find a new local spot to support.
My goodness, I got back this week from a trip out of town and going here is my first place back was an incredible Texas BBQ experience. From the pulled pork to the smoked turkey to the moist brisket along with the mac & cheese, and the Tres leches corn… it was all incredibly delicious and mouthwatering! The Brisket and mac and cheese was top tier and worth getting. It’s outdoors and the service was great as well. 10/10 recommend.

Getting rid of the queso was a bad idea. Best part of the stuffed potatoes. Potatoes don’t taste the same without the queso. Won’t be ordering again.
They deliberately rip you off when you pay with the tip set to 22%. It is already costly and it is only a food truck in which no waitress service is provided. I don’t see why one should have to pay such high tip.

I went on Friday 8/1/25 at about 1:30. Not a hard place to find but you do have to look see it. I got the sliced brisket sandwich and the individual elote. The sandwich was excellent with a great smokey flavor and they actually toasted the bun. The sauce could have used a little more flavor for my palate, but it was pretty good nonetheless. I wasn't a big fan of the elote. It just didn't have enough flavor for me and the corn tasted like it was frozen or came out of a can. I would definitely go back for the sandwich though as it was very good.
I didn't get the young lady's name who waited on me but she was very friendly and helpful. They have a really cool set up their.

Order 6/29 and picked up around 6:10 pm. Order specifically said no onions on the brisket sandwich. I mentioned to lady at the window and she brought rhe male cook/prep guy. He said he can just give me coleslaw. I said I ordered it with no onions. His suggestion was just to pull them off, and I said I'd like a new one as I dont like the taste of the onion. He was annoyed, rubbed his nose and didnt want to do it. So im writing this review. Any other place they will make you a new one the way it was supposed to be ordered. I thought the guy was rude.
