Ate here on a rainy, cold evening in April. The meats were delicious. Seriously, they were excellent. I really liked the pork ribs and brisket. None of the sides were very good (beans, slaw, elote). The jalapeño cheddar sausage was pretty good (not spicy enough for my taste). The bread was fine.

The food and service were excellent. We had the sliced brisket, it was very tender and juicy and the flavor was great. We also had the sausage and a turkey sandwich. The turkey was also moist, and the flavor was great.Nice outside seating area. Pets are also allowed.

Please make the cinnamon rolls part of the menu! A dessert option would be great to go with the bbq!I used this place to cater my birthday and they did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and the staff is always so friendly. I’ve become a returning customer after having them cater.Pork ribs on Saturday’s are the best around!

One of my favorite places to get delicious sliced brisket and BBQ sandwiches. I've been eating here for years and the brisket has always been consistently delicious. We usually order moist brisket with added burnt ends. The mac and cheese is a must order! Louie's makes one of the best mac and cheese around!Instagram:food_and_travel0

This outdoor BBQ trailer near main Street Buda is awesome. Food is great. They have a baked potato with your choice of meats that is huge. There is limited parking but lots of spaces on main Street. This place is great for a casual date or to meet up with friends.Parking: Only a few spots but more on street parking nearby

We LOVE Louie's BBQ, in fact my son requests their brisket weekly and my husband loves their jalapeño sausage. My favorite are their baked potatoes! Since we like their food so much we are regulars and have been for a long time. The only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is because although the food is consistently great the service is not. We have had great service but we've also experienced feeling like we were interrupting the employees by picking up our order. It's rare to be greeted right away (even when there's no one else there) and a lot of times you get handed a bag without a smile or a word. We almost always order at least half a brisket and whether or not you get bread, pickles, or onions with it varies depending on who's working. Initially, when we placed our orders online I always gave a 20% tip, after getting really inconsistent service I tried tipping 25% on our next few orders to see if it made a difference and it did not. I wish you could tip after picking up your order because there is a young man who is really nice but there's also a young woman who is not as welcoming. Overall the food is good enough that we continue to order regularly and we recommend them to anyone who asks.

Hands down best BBQ around! So good I’d drive an hour and a half on a week night to come eat their food! Their Street Corn is delicious, their tacos are practically a burrito and their brisket chili was amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this place! The staff is always friendly and the food comes out promptly!

Stop driving all the way out to Salt Lick. The barbecue here is so good. Plenty of seating in the area, or take it to go. Every time I go they get the order out quick, I've never had a bad meal there. Pricing is in line with the area, definitely cheaper than most meat joints in Austin and better quality food. I suggest the 1/2 pound brisket sandwich-great if you're a pig like me, or if you make good life choices, split it with a loved one.Park nearby, there's plenty of public parking.

Louie's Craft BBQ was recommended by a friend who STRONGLY urged (read: practically begged) me not to mention it to anyone else, to "keep the secret" as it were. Following up on such a recommendation thus became imperative, and on taking my first bite of Louie's brisket I fully understood (and yet, I feel compelled to praise the place all the same, hypocrisy thy be human). On my visit I very much enjoyed 1/4 pound of the aforementioned brisket, a remarkable pulled pork taco, and a "Texas-size" limeade. A brilliant light linch (for barbecue) that came in at under $20...and that included the crazy-delicious chicken wing taste that was generously offered gratis at precisely the right moment. Never to be forgotten.

The food is mid at best. Nothing outstanding, but if you don't want to drive to Lockhart, this is here. Maybe I've been at the wrong time, but I've given it multiple tries. The staff is nice****The other thing is a WARNING ⚠️ to patrons! Please be aware when you back out of their tiny parking lot, or your $50 BBQ might turn into a $300 tow truck and $$$ in repairs to your vehicle. I have seen plenty of cars hanging over the driveway entrance and the culvert pipe. Please pay major attention when you are backing out. I happened to be in buda this weekend and saw a Prius hanging off the edge. Whomever they rent the space from should really make improvements to the single lane entrance/exit.Parking: ****The other thing is a WARNING ⚠️ to patrons!
