Made a reservation on a Sunday for 7:15 and arrived to a closed restaurant. No where on the website, open table, and at the physical location said anything about it being closed. Unfortunate, my partner and I chose that place to celebrate our anniversary.
Very small and very loud. We ended up leaving so I haven't not eaten at the restaurant although the food I saw looked great. It's just not a great environment. They also had all the doors open and it was hot
Waitress didn't really know menu and food was terrible. Not many varieties and my chicken enchiladas didn't have any flavors. We also got the flautas and the chicken was dry inside.
We got there at 2 PM and they closed at 3 PM, they told us we could stay and finish our meal. We thought that was nice, though they shut the music down and several of the staff started eating their meals in the main dining room while they were watching videos on their own phones, which were very loud so the overall ambience declined very quickly because we were there after the closing time.
Love coming here. Yes, it's small. Yes, it gets crowded. Just plan ahead and make reservations. This isn't a giant chain place. It's local and quaint. Yummy apps and amazing service. The best $8 on the rocks Margs.
First time there and I will definitely be going back for happy hour! Everything had great flavors! The food and drinks!
I walked in tonight for a birthday dinner with my dad and we were ready to eat and drink to our hearts desire. We were both excited because the food looked great online and were hoping to get the five star Google review experience. Unfortunately, we got the 1 star Google review experience because after being sat by the hostess we waited 15-20 minutes without anyone coming by to take our drink order or introduce themselves. The waitress and other staff walked by us numerous times without any hint of acknowledgment. After a while of waiting my dad and I decided to just leave. It was super weird for someone to not even let us know it would be a few minutes or give us some sort of update. Keep in mind, I’m a former server myself, so I’m typically very understanding of waitstaff. However, there was a server, hostess, and bartender working and there were only 4-5 tables small tables sat in the entire restaurant (including our two-top). The place was slow by all accounts. The staff was leisurely going about their business as well, so I couldn’t even throw them a bone by thinking maybe they were super stressed and overworked. Nope. They just casually walked by us a thousand times before we gave up. Not cool. The bartender was a sweetheart when I asked where the bathroom was though…so uh there’s that I guess.

A great local place, fresh food, lovely staff that makes you feel at home. The Jamaica was yummy and even though the Al pastor wasn’t on the trompo, it was still delicious. Def looking forward to returning! The churro donuts made topped the lunch! Forgot to take a pic of our first and 2nd course.

We were going to dine outside, but the condition and unevenness of the tables (need to be redone) deterred us from that. The inside however was great, and loved the bench seating at the windows. They had the doors open for a nice breeze coming thru that complimented the AC settings. Although they do have a train track right across the street, and the horn blaring is a couple minutes of loud noise when it's going by. It went by a couple times in the 1.5 hrs we were there for lunch. They were not busy at all, which is too bad to see, because we want places like this to stick around. A very unique place, and food and cocktail selections were all excellent. Lived the vibe and music too. We'll be back.
Have come here several times now, mostly because we love the California burrito and the churro donuts. But it's really frustrating that they seem to just not be open during their listed hours both on maps and actual website. We ordered to go on a Sunday at 6, which their hours state they are open at, only to be greeted by a closed restaurant with nobody there. This isn't the first time it's happened either. Meaning I spent money ordering the food and won't be able to get it back for a few days likely, also not to mention that the closed unattended restaraunt door was unlocked?

The food was tasty. The fish tacos had a nice amount of fish and toppings on a thick crispy corn tortilla. The enmoladas were tasty but the temperature could have been hotter. The ceviche was fresh, tasty and a generous portion. We went on a Friday evening and the place was very full. Our wait person was a little overwhelmed handling a lot of tables, but the kitchen and the bar were quick and accurate. Recommend!

10/10 — Highly recommend! The burrito and carne asada fries are a must-try! This was my second visit with my boyfriend and family, and everything was just as great as the first time. The space is limited, so I recommend getting there right when they open to grab a spot or book a reservation. The drinks are delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. Only thing to note — it can get a little hot in the summer since the AC doesn’t seem to be on, but the food and drinks make it worth it. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Buda — I’ll be coming back again and again! 😁

The food is great and it's the cutest restaurant. Make a res because it's small and gets full by 6. The service was a bit of a struggle. Communication issues and our bill was wrong (we were there during happy hour but got charged full price for everything on the HH menu) They fixed it and we paid, but when we got home realized were were still overcharged, Will go back but hopefully we will have a better experience with the service.
Cute as a button location. Great staff. It’s small so it can get backed up. Food and drinks were great. Weather permitting the patio is great.

The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the stench of gray water. We were tempted to walk right out but ended up staying. The food came out in stages, first to two guests, then to the third guest, and after what seemed like an eternity, the fourth guest finally got her food. The food was ok, but definitely not worth the price. One of my guests and I both worked at all levels of food service, from entry level up to management, and both agree this was a disappointment and will not be returning. Definitely not deserving of the stares given on this site.
