Poor & rude service
If you have a coupon be sure to let them know when ordering because they have an issue if you tell them when you go to pay!
Got two meals and made us pay for sauce. Online says sauce is .25 cents but she said it was .53 cents a sauce which was interesting not sure what the price is . Not sure if she was just irritated at the coupon usage or what. I understand they are probably overworked & tired but simply being decent will do

Overall it was a good experience, staff can work on their customer service a bit. I think keeping in mind that every job is a stepping stone to eventually something else, which means you gotta try your best at all times. Overall, food was delicious and order correct.

I've not been to this Popeye's in a good while due to bad service, but went i believe it was Wednesday 16th, 2025 evening between 9:30pm 10pm and i am very happy to say drive thru service has improved Alot, food came out fast and our order was correct food tasted fresh and hot. So I will be returning. 🤗

Long Wait, Missing Items – Go to the Kyle Location Instead
This Popeyes in Buda has been consistently disappointing. I waited over 25 minutes for a basic combo, only to find out when I got home that it was missing my biscuit and sauce. That seems to happen every time I come here.
What’s worse is that no one ever seems in a rush to fix anything. The staff looks annoyed, and there’s no sense of urgency or care for the customer experience.
Honestly, if you’re craving Popeyes, just make the short drive further to the Kyle location. It’s faster, cleaner, and they actually get your order right. Buda used to be better, but now it’s frustrating.

What Happened to Buda Popeyes?
This place used to be so much better. There was a manager here a while back who actually cared—orders were right, food was fresh, and the service was on point. Ever since they left, everything has gone downhill. I think her name was Maria?
My last visit was a mess. The chicken was soggy and barely warm, the fries were limp, and my order was missing items (again). The staff seemed lost and honestly didn’t seem to care. I asked about the missing side and got attitude instead of help.
The lobby was dirty, and no one was cleaning the tables. It’s like no one’s in charge anymore. It’s a shame because this used to be my go-to spot. Bring back whoever was running it before—they actually knew what they were doing!
Worst of all, the new management is just plain rude. I asked about a missing item in my order and got an attitude FROM THE MANAGER like I was being a problem for wanting what I paid for.

Always respectful and friendly. Our food is always fresh. We come for the popcorn shrimp on a regular. Arley is so sweet and helpful we absolutely love to see her.
