Pros: margaritas were very good, and I love the atmosphere, especially the outdoor area with the views of downtown Buda. Cons: when asked to sit outside, we were sat right next to the only other couple there, when there were much more private tables available, so we just moved ourselves, no big deal. Also, when my gf asked to leave the fries off of her burger and add a different side instead, we were told no substitutions were allowed, even though we were fine paying for the extra side. This seemed a bit odd. I say this just to make the point that if a simple request like that could have been accommodated, we would likely have been more willing to come back, but after that we’ll probably try some place else next time.

We made the AMAZING decision to have our post wedding brunch at Taste on Main and we left so happy with our experience. The reservation for 19 was affordable and easy to book. The food was delicious and the service was beyond amazing. With a large group, I know it can be hard to make everything go smoothly but our server, Evan, and the rest of the team had everything out at a timely manner and with a kind smile. The outside seating was beautiful and the bathrooms were nice and clean. I would highly recommend Taste on Main! We’re sad we’re not local to the area, but we’d love to visit again soon.

Easily my favourite restaurant in the Buda/Kyle area. The food is delicious, the service wonderful, and the outdoor seating just lovely.
This place has my favourite steak (filet, perfectly cooked and seasoned) in town. I like the sharing sides, as you get to choose as a table and try new things.
Do beware: the margaritas are deceptively strong (and delicious)!
The food and service are top notch! I recommend the lobster roll.
