“Came here driving thru and I wanted BBQ. This area is small and if you blink, you'll pass thru the town. However let me say that I came in on a Saturday and after I placed the order, I was expecting to pay. The young guy told me that he would take my payment after he got me fed. Let me say that him telling me that blew my mind. That's what you call great service. Just by that act alone I will return. I had the brisket with two side ribs, beans and potato salad. The food was really good and flavorful. You can tell this place has been here a long while. Ack to the service. I absolutely love this place and their hospitality. I can't say enough about how well I was treated. Again the food was delicious but man they should be proud on service.“

“Wow wow wow don’t even know where to begin from the food, the atmosphere, or the service.We walked away speechless the meats where some of the best bbq we ever tasted, the atmosphere of the place was amazing and the service was impeccable they even came to check on us a few times.After we couldn’t even move from over eating because it was so good, on our way out we bought a banana pudding that we said would be for later but after trying one bite we found that little extra space to enjoy the amazing dessert .The place was overall amazing I guess my only complaint is that now I can’t move because it was too good to stop eating. Worth the visit“

“First time eating here, and it was phenomenal. I had their classic burger, and my wife had their hot ham and cheese. The burger was cooked to perfection, and was seasoned very well. The hot ham and cheese sub was fresh and very well seasoned. Also ordered a side of their cheese balls, bested tasting cheese bites we've ever had. Most definitely need to try this pub and grill.“

“Whether you are a fourth generation Texan or just passing through the Lone Star State, The Ball Ranch is a very fun way to spend an evening out with friends or family. It is "toe-tapping, Western-swing at its finest!" The venue is a short drive outside of Abilene (less than 8 miles) and seats more than 200 people and can easily accommodate families, friends, anniversary parties or birthday parties. “Crooked Creek Meats catered our wedding. We had friends, and family from the east coast, Midwest, Great Plains, and of course Texas. Everyone loved the food! On top of the food, they provide their own tables, table cloths, utensils, plates, and they serve at the buffet line! We could not have picked a better caterer. Highly recommended and we will be following their food truck around for years to come!“

“Tonight we ordered two stuffed chopped brisket potatoes, beans, and peach cobbler. Everything was made so well. The flavor was perfect. The price was very reasonable for what we ordered. I went through the drive thru and took it home and it took about 10 minutes to order and get my food. Wonderful experience all the way around.“
