Live in SC but ordered the tenderloin. Is was so amazing, I plan to order again and again! Hope to visit the restaurant one day!
For the price of a 3 piece catfish meal, it was very disappointing! The fish was warm as if it had been sitting on the counter waiting for someone to order it. The rolls were okay (but only given two rolls for two people) and the side dish (cowboy potatoes) was very bland and also disappointing! It was simply red potatoes baked and seasoned with only butter. My husband ate hamburger steak and he said that was delicious but the portions vs the price is ridiculous! Won't be going there again. And...you are required to make reservations! Not impressed at all!
Great destination restaurant. This historical ranch style steakhouse with excellent steaks.

Find else where to eat, food is prepared in a fly invested shed or fly invested covered patio, including their ridiculous catfish buffet, with cats freely roaming and being fed by employees. True meaning of money can buy you anything...especially a heads up on health inspections if they even have one. Tom is praised as such a great cook and doesn't even know his way around the grill, but you better bet he will find that wine bottle no matter the time of day! Run employees into the ground and make empty promises. The only way they have such high praise from magazines is because they make sure to use that money to wine and dine editors and demand everything be perfect for them. And their precious frozen tenderloins hauled in the back of a pick up in open air no matter the temperature outside. Not to mention if one is dropped ON THE GROUND during prep it is just sprayed with water and continued in the process. I invite you to go see for yourself but I wouldn't advise you to eat the overpriced overrated food!

The best ribeye I've had in a while! Tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Also, the zucchini perini was quite tasty. Everything we ordered was fresh and came out pretty quickly.
Our waitress Bree (not sure of the spelling) was a sweetheart; very warm, welcoming, and attentive. One of the staff also brought us blankets as we were sitting outside. I look forward to stopping by again soon.

I initially scored 4's on service and atmosphere. I was being petty. I'm hot blooded and the place was hot for me. Everyone with me was very comfortable soooo I changed it. The server didn't give me any options for a bourbon other than Woodford, while I like it I'd like to have heard what else was available. I could have pushed but we were a group of 6 and they were busy. On to the good. We all ordered different stuff. My HUGE ribeye was delicious, green chili hominy is outstanding, catfish is crisp and meaty, tenderloin looked cooked to perfection, and the ranch burger is excellent. The wife and niece had margaritas, which must have been good and strong. We go at least once a year to celebrate a birthday. It is an experience. Get a reservation and be ready for an enjoyable evening

The steaks were so great! And the sides are unbeatable! But the star of the show was the bread pudding!

Very cozy country themed atmosphere for dining. It’s kinda out in the middle of no where which feels a little sketchy. Once you get inside, it’s all good. The servers greet and seat you with a sense of urgency, courtesy, & politeness. They will make room for you and find a space for you if they can so that you’re not waiting around for so long. They promptly start your order. They make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I’ve been in the habit of wearing my cowgirl boots whenever I eat here all in the spirit of the cowgirl country lifestyle. I try to blend in and make it a true country cowgirl experience. I consider myself somewhat of a country girl at heart because both sides of my families originated from the US country south and I’m a proud American. So I do have country in me although I was born and raised in a big city. Yeehaw. lol!
I have gone there specifically for the lamb chops special. The lamb chops are delicious, but the serving size is too small for the high price. The special comes with a small serving of asparagus or Brussels sprouts. Also, a serving of their homemade jalapeño jelly. I’ve never had anything like that jelly. It’s very unique and tastes great.
I like the way they prop the lamb chops up on the plate when they present it to you. It’s an expensive dish, but it’s worth it to me because I really enjoy feasting on lamb chops.
I just wish they served them on the menu more often. Sometimes they advertise the lamp chop special and I’ve called in advance only to find out that they’re not on the menu for the weekend even though they’ve been advertised. I always call before going and I always will.
It would be great if you all had better lighting in the parking lots at night so that guests feel more secure coming & going at night.

I celebrated my one-year anniversary at Perini Ranch Steakhouse, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment you drive up and see the big Barbara Dillo armadillo statue guarding the gate, you know you’re about to experience something truly Texas. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for in a rustic ranch setting, warm, wooden, and full of history. Even the menus tell the story of how this iconic place came to be, which makes it feel even more special.
We made a reservation online and were promptly seated when we arrived. The service was incredible from start to finish. Our server went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even congratulating us on our anniversary. As a gay couple, that kind of warmth and kindness means a lot, and it set the tone for a beautiful evening.
We started with the jalapeño bites, and wow, they were perfection. Crispy, flavorful, just the right amount of heat, and gone within minutes. I had the fried catfish with corn pudding, which was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The catfish was golden and tender, the corn pudding sweet and comforting. My fiancé ordered the ribeye with the same sides and a salad, and he couldn’t stop raving about it. He said it was one of the best steaks he’s ever eaten, perfectly cooked, seasoned to perfection, and melt-in-your-mouth good.
Everything about Perini Ranch lives up to the hype. The food, the service, the setting, it all comes together in a way that feels both elevated and authentically Texas. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and experience you get. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we’ll be back.
If you’re looking for a place that combines incredible food, genuine hospitality, and true Texas charm, Perini Ranch Steakhouse is it.
