Best food i ever had in a while , if you looking for a real mexican spot look no moore, me and my wife loved it, freshly made and delicious and really good service i would definitely stop by any time i come back to houston....
So delicious! Great salsas (spicy, authentic, flavorful). The melon water tasted natural, not too sweet, just right. The tortillas seemed homemade and they were so soft. All meat was seasoned well, not too greasy. Not a huge fan on the fried sope vs just cooked on comal, but still good. No public restroom and it's small, but cute in its own way.

Taqueria Lopez is an absolute treasure! It’s a small restaurant but has a warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, although they don’t speak much english.
The food? Simply exceptional. Each dish bursts with authentic flavors, the kitchen is right there and you can watch the lady who definitely could be your Tia.
