While traveling found this amazing restaurant. Fresh food, home cooked atmosphere. Very nice and delicious place to eat. Owner came around greeted each and every customer.
We eat here for breakfast every Saturday. It's always excellent and affordable.

Since there's not an option to give zero stars, I will give 1 star since our server was timely to get our drink orders to the table. I I would love to be able to rate based on the food, however, we were unable to eat due to the horrendous treatment by the owner himself over parking. We are not local and planned this trip to stop here for breakfast based on great reviews. We pulled in and the lot appeared to be full. We parked next to the restaurant in a lot that appeared to be overflow. Many other cars parked there. Once we sat down, the owner, Tim, came to the front and yelled across the restaurant asking who's cars were parked in employee parking. We told him they were ours and we would move them, we weren't aware we couldn't park there. Rather than come to our table to speak to us, he continued to yell from the front, we were at the back, causing a scene in front of all patrons at peak breakfast time. It was embarrassing. My husband and son went to move our cars and he followed them out still complaining about the parking stating there's another lot and that people get upset and leave all the time over him asking them to move. We told him maybe a different approach in how he speaks to people might be helpful. My husband apologized multiple times for parking there and he continued to yell and be irate. We decided to go ahead and leave, and have breakfast elsewhere, then he was upset we were leaving. He yelled and cursed at my husband and son. It was unbelievable to us that a business owner could be so nasty over a parking spot. I must add, there is absolutely no signage that says employee parking, nor is there signage stating there is additional parking that you can't see if you enter from a certain side of the building and you're not from there. What an awful experience. This is not a way to run a business, no matter how great people say the food is. I see he is also a Military Veteran where people compliment his service. While this is commendable, we have Veterans in our family as well, one being a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Air National Guard who would never be so disrespectful to patrons visiting an establishment where service should be a top priority in how you treat your guests. Since parking seems to be a regular issue, it seems, maybe invest in some signs for your lot.

Stay away from this place just in case you run into the owner. Tim Green just gave us the absolute third degree for parking in an UNMARKED employee parking space. Unbelievable that a business owner would scream, yell, and throw a fit like an unruly child at anyone, let alone a paying customer. Time to grow up Tim. Wow, this place needs Jesus or it won't be open for long I'm willing to bet. Feel bad for the good people of Burkburnett that I'm sure have run into this guy.

We had great experience. We were waiting on food and owner came out an said he was sorry for everyone's wait. I thought that was really nice. He also talked to several people at tables and booths. Very nice people and food was great. The place was full so that tells me its a great place. I would recommend to all. I will be back!

A little down home dinner run by an Air Force Veteran and a bunch of wonderful women. I had the French Toast and 2 over easy eggs, and Man that French Toast hit the spot! It was some of the best French Toast I have had in long time. They even were able to get me a hot chocolate (even though it wasn't advertised on the menu). ? For some gold standard breakfast and really good portions (unless you're on a diet ?) I highly recommend it. I even heard that they have BBQ and I am looking forward to trying it too!

Thank goodness for Chief’s! Burk needed a BBQ restaurant! My family and I have tried the beef & pork brisket and ribs. They're all so delicious and we can't pick a favorite! I absolutely love the baked beans! I could probably just order a big bowl of them and they'd fill me up!. If you go a at breakfast get then M.O.A.B (mother of all burritos),you tell them what you want in it. It so big, my hubby, and I split it! Our daughter loves the French toast so much that she gets a double order! Prices are marked incredibly low I'm not surprised they don't charge more for such delicious food! No discounts needed bc prices this low you don't need one!
