We have been going here for around a decade. My family is from Greenville, and every time they come over I try to talk them into going to Buckys. Definitely our favorite local place for Breakfast!!!
I had chicken fried steak and eggs, food tasted good, but did not come to the table hot. We had 2 servers, a mature woman took our order and was very nice. A younger woman brought the food to the table like she was doing us a favor. I liked the menu so I'll go back, hopefully the service will be better.
I had Chicken Fried Steak with Gravy, Fried Okra, Spicy Pinto Beans, and a roll. I will tell you that the Chicken Fried Steak is nothing short of transcendent. The pepper that is mixed into the breading, combined with the tender, cut-with-your-fork meat cut is a borderline spiritual experience - if someone had passed an offering plate, I would have given a love offering, hallelujah amen!
