Heard the burgers were good so Friday oct 10 that evening we ordered, and let me tell ya that was the best burger I’ve had in this area, was delicious and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the jalapeño bun if you like a little spice.

Bottlenecks Bar & Grill – A True Texas Treasure
If you’re looking for the best hamburger you’ve ever had, take a ride out to the country and stop in at Bottlenecks Bar & Grill in Deanville, Texas. I’ve eaten burgers all over the place, and nothing comes close to the flavor and freshness here. Maybe it’s because they’re right near the ranches—but whatever the reason, the meat is top-notch, juicy, and cooked to perfection.
The service? Outstanding. Bella gave us some of the best service I’ve had anywhere—friendly, attentive, and full of that Texas charm. It reminded me of something I wish more people experienced: that small-town warmth where you’re treated like family the minute you walk in.
Out in the country, food is still cooked with love, gratitude, and heart. The atmosphere at Bottlenecks is just right—laid-back, welcoming, and full of good folks who treat you like they’ve known you forever. I came out here with a group of bikers (even though I don’t own a bike—they jokingly called my car a “cage”), but they still welcomed me like one of their own. That same vibe carried right into the restaurant.
I’m going to miss this when I leave Texas—the waves from strangers on the road, the kindness in the air, and the way places like Bottlenecks make you feel right at home. So if you’re wondering where to get your next great meal, skip the city noise and take a peaceful drive out to Deanville. You won’t be disappointed.
Thank you, Bottlenecks Bar & Grill, for reminding me of what real Texas hospitality tastes—and feels—like.
They are a bar and grill, but their food is really good and priced right! Lady at front always friendly. Stop and check them out.
I go here quite often. I love this place and the atmosphere. Don’t get me started on the food Markis throws down in kitchen every time I go foods always fresh hot and delicious I haven’t gotten 1 bad thing there. It’s always so good I highly recommend the burgers and the fried okra and Texas tooth picks. But I’ve had just about everything there. The food and service is always on point ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is an amazing place with wonderful employees taking care of you. If you are in the area stop by.

I love coming here, Cam and Monica are the best! And I love the loaded fries!
Amazing place to relax and listen to music, play pool and get something to eat. They have a variety of things to do: karaoke, DJ Music, live music, corn hole, bingo.

A mixed bag for sure. After ordering for me (club sandwich, fries and some cheddar poppers) and my girl (Grilled?? Chicken salad). All I can say is, I likely won't be back. The fries were super stale and cold to the point of being inedible. Reminded me of old over cooked frozen bagged to oven fries, except I could taste the stale oil on them. The poppers were burnt to a crisp. Seriously, I have no idea how a bar messes up fries and cheddar poppers to that degree. I tended bar for years in a similar place and would be mortified to serve that up to a customer. The so called grilled chicken salad looked far more like some type of chicken crumbles with a red spice on it. Like the vegan style stuff. But it was not eaten as despite having the young lady repeat the order back to us after making it very clear that she could not eat cheese as she has a pretty severe intolerance to dairy. It was ansolutly covered in finly shredded cheese, so she would not eat it and I was not about too, simply due to the chicken looking weird and not at all like grilled chicken should. Why did we not send it back you ask? This was a pick up order, so too bad so sad unless we want to drive back. Here is the kicker.... The club sandwich, was so freaking good. I loved it. After all the rest, I really wanted to hate this place. Like I really really wanted to just tell the world how bad they are. But these people made me one of the better club sandwich I've had in a long while. It's served hot, which I did not love at first glance being a bit more of a traditional club sammie guy. But it was delicious. The turkey, the ham, the bacon, the lightly grilled bread, all tasty and the proportions were great and the lettuce and tomato were fresh and very nice, even the mayo was really good. Not too much. Sooooo yeah... I hated almost everything so much, but that club was so very good.
