Stopped in after lunch today to see about tasting a white wine to take back to the ranch for the evening. Met Pat and his wife plus another couple (she bakes German sweets from her grandmother's recipes to have along with the sweeter wines and port). All four were so engaging and wonderful company. The winery offers a $15 tasting of 5 wines of your choice along with a charcuterie accompaniment to pair with the wines you select. I ended up purchasing 4 of the five I tasted. ...read full review

The Bellamente Calliente Sangiovese, with a hint of roasted jalapeño, and the Port Sullivan, which is said to rival premium ports, are particularly noteworthy. On weekends, guests can also enjoy authentic German cookies and pastries when tasting the port. This winery is described as a hidden, up-and-coming gem, providing great hospitality and excellent wines.
