We stopped by the coffee shop and wanted a good lunch. They recommended Pappy's bakery and I am glad they did. Great Burger and Sandwich and we got a lot of baked goods for friends and family. We will stop by there on the way to Waco now more often
Between Houston and Waco we were starving! With an hour left in our drive we couldn't wait and randomly Yelped nearby food. Pappy's popped up and we stopped!We all got croissant breakfast sandwiches. I'm so ashamed to say I was SHOCKED at how good it was.Calvert seems like a sleepy little town along Hwy. 6. I assumed the bread may be a little dry and the food sub par! i bought myself a patty melt (huge) and a joey dessert (the bomb!!!!) and my friend had a cup of white chix chili (she raved over) with a slice of derby pie and a cup of watwr for $23!!! it was some absolute delicious food y’all.
