Decided to grab a quick lunch here after reading the excellent reviews. This place is a gem. I had the chicken salad croissant and my husband had the turkey sandwich. The chicken salad was wonderful - lots of chicken, pecans and finely chopped apples. There’s a coffee display with several enticing flavors. We bought the bourbon pecan coffee beans. Although it was late afternoon, they offered to grind some of it and make us a fresh pot. It was delicious. Great food, exemplary...
Do yourself a favor and stop by Pappy’s ?? you absolutely will not regret it. The best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! I’m guessing the croissant was homemade. The baked items are equally as delicious!
We only had bakery items, so please don't judge their lunch offerings by this review. The cheesecake my husband had was mostly good, but the ingredients were not fully incorporated. Streaks of cream cheese were found throughout the slice. The cake balls were more like cookie dough encased in a hard chocolate shell, nothing even close to resembling cake. I didn't like the carrot cake ball at all, but the lemon was okay. The best thing was the oatmeal cream pie....
