Everything about this place gives "hole in the wall." Lol. You know the place you kinda question before going in and then ending up becoming a regular because the food and service are so good!!! The burger was amazing. Chicken fried steak & grilled chicken were seasoned perfectly!

The only complaint I have is the CFS & gravy had no flavor. It presented amazingly & the portions were large. We had the chicken fried steak dinner w/ baked potatoes, green beans & fried cheese curds as an appetizer. Had some of the seasoning on the overly seasoned green beans, been on the CFS, I would have given the food 5☆. Please don't not go because of this review. There are many options at BBS & I'm sure we may have just had an off meal. The salad dressings taste homemade & were wonderful. Huge portion of curds w/ ranch dressing. The table bread was good & it's nice to get that pre meal. Baked potato toppings are brought to the table including sour cream, green onions & shredded cheddar. Butter would have been good too but we did without. It's a nice drive to get to BBS which added to the overall night out. We will absolutely go back. It's a change from the typical restaurants around the area. Service was top notch & welcoming. I don't like to give a so so review because I feel giving a good review says a lot, anyone can complain easily. Who knows, maybe someone said the CFS was overly seasoned & they were trying to correct that? Ya can't please everyone. I did take a big leftover box home. 1/2 the meal was plenty. Prices were fair to portions.

Best hidden gem in Central Texas! Waitress was friendly and attentive. Pre-Dinner was fresh hot bread and butter. There were reading glasses on every table which is a very convenient gesture for people that forget theirs. The bottles of different sauces were on every table. The serving sizes were more than generous. The tea was fresh and sweet and served with a fresh lemon every time. The two of us ate for $36 and took quite a bit home. They also have a dance hall and full bar. This is a place to check out!

We called at the last minute to seat 30 people. Scott accommodated us and we were in and out in a little over an hour. The food was fabulous! And the service was great !! Thank you!

Just had possibly the toughest Rib Eye steak ever. I don't mind paying for a good steak, but this was on par with a plain cut of round steak. On the other side my wife had a chicken fried chicken that was very good.

Great service. Steaks were cooked nicely. Beef from 44 farms. 5 of us ordered med rare and got a good cut of beef. 1 person ordered well done ribeye and his was a postage stamp due to ordering well done. The fried shrimp were excellent. Everyone was very hospitable. Like the fact they bring the carousel of sour cream, cheese and green onion therefore stacking up your own tater. But no bacon bits guess its bring your own. Thanks for a great time!

We’ve been eating here for year’s. The last 2 times we’ve eaten here it has been horrible. The last time I got a chicken fried steak, the size of a burger patty. We ordered chicken fried steak dinner and a grilled chicken breast dinner and the green beans literally have so much pepper that I’m gonna post a pictures. My John says chicken is dry as could be and so is my steamed broccoli stay tuned for the pictures….. Also, we will never be back

Vegetarian options: Our green beans had so much pepper that I mean it looks like a can was dumped in each little bowl. My broccoli is steamed and it is dry and cold
