My husband and I just had cheeseburgers from Tex Miller’s Hamburgers in Cameron, TX and it was delicious! I love the old fashioned atmosphere of sitting at school desks to enjoy it. A++ We highly recommend them!

Took family, drove 150 miles to get these burgers and they were awesome!! Cameron is a cool little town, walked around the square. Apparently, wine fest going on, car show, was very relaxing and fun!!

Food was great, staff was friendly. Dining area small. Each person sat in a school type desk chair combination so it is more geared towards small groups and individuals. They seem to have a lot of take out orders. Will return in the future for another great burger.

Tex Miller’s Hamburgers, review, When you have a hunger, you must go and go we did! 300 miles round trip to Camron, Texas to check out a small-town hamburger joint that opened in 1937 in the same location it is today. I found out about this place back in February I believe watching the Texas Bucket List show and forgot about it until it popped up on the internet. We arrived shortly before opening time and grabbed a few outside shots before a kind lady unlocked the door. She started by setting out all the chairs and signs before welcoming us into the store. We both already knew what we wanted because we talked about it the whole way down. Cindy was the lady with the soft voice and big smile that was behind the older model cash register and asking what we wanted. I rattled off 2 cheeseburgers loaded and a chili cheese dog which she replied do you want jalapenos on those burgers, and I kindly said no. We had our drinks with us, and it came to $18 and some change, I paid and left a nice tip. Jenn asked if we could take photos and started snapping away. She was focused on the seating arrangement and then moved on to the 85-year-old grill that had a natural bend in the middle where the grease would gather and that’s what they used to get the meat started and brother is it seasoned well. The furnishings in the building were set with a time long ago and you can see the older generation coming and going for many years. An older model refrigerator is set in the corner just a few feet away from where we were setting. Our food was delivered, and we dug in, both looking at one another with smiles. I started with the chili cheese dog, and I saved her a tasteful bite, but a small tasteful bite. My burger was gone so fast that the 3 ladies were watching to see if I was ok. After we were finished and we made it clear that we would be back Cindy asked us outside to take our photos for their FB site. This is not a 4-star eating establishment, but it is just what a bunch of bikers’ love. The homemade chili with wienies in it is to die for and the burger has a seasoning all its own and unique. This is a sure ride destination. If I could add one thing to the menu, it would be called the Tex Miller MTB Hot Dog Bowl. Take one toasted hot dog bun and tear it up in the bottom of a bowl, dip 2 cups of that delicious chili dog chili over it, throw a little cheese, onions and a splash of mustard on top and give’em a spoon - $8-$10 in the winter months.

Popped into here for a quick burger and no frills stop. Been here since 1937, aged to perfection. Ate the burger so fast, no fries just chips and big selection of btl and glass drinks.
